Updated again. And thanks guys. This level of communication won't be going away either, as GalCiv users can tell you (and Sins players) we tend to try to hang around long term. It's just with Demigod, we've had an unprecedented initial..."launch".
I have to say, I was tempted to give up on Demigod after I couldn't play online for practically the first week. However due to the level of commi

Well it's good to see I'm not the only one who thinks this! I especially like the idea of favour points being tied in to awards and individual performance, with a multiplyer (x2 for the winners, for example) added to the winning team. This ensures that those players who carry a team but ultimately lose will still be rewarded for their efforts.

Hey guys, Apologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere, I had a quick look and found this topic: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/336920/ which goes a little way to discussing the issue. I'd like to see a more appropriate allocation of the Favour points at the end of a match - I find that no matter in which type of match I play the person on my team with the most kills will receive the most favour points. However, in a domination match, where t

It may be due to how often each player's profile gets updated - it claims it only happens daily, at midnight (EST, I presume). But still, there's definitely something up with it. My profile currently has me down for 0W/1L (more like 2/1 now) whilst at the same time my play time is at 0, my favour points are at 0 and it counts both my win and loss streak as 1. Weird. It also hasn't recorded any of the

Same problem here for me. Last night (01:00 GMT) was fine, lots of Pantheon games without problems (aside from very long connection times) woke up this morning and get the same error messages as described above: Mainly that I failed to connect to a NAT Facilitator, sometimes just one that says "Failed to get Game Info". I thought that Demigod worked on a P2P system so servers weren't specifically required for gameplay - I had assumed they were just for stat tracking. Or have I got tha
No. You should RTFP. He asked about 'missions'. You can request missions.
No need to be rude Gerry. Actually, page 22 in the manual doesn't mention missions at all, but calls them "Ally Requests". Page 31 discusses "Missions", which is what the poster originally asked: "You should be able to decline the mission and offer the other players missioins." So would I be correct in saying that you can make Ally Requests, but not request the players to pe

But wasn't requesting materials (as the computer players do) what Xerleh originally asked in his post? I think someone was a little too quick to tell him to RTFM. Regardless, a feature such as this would be useful in PvP games.
I agree the mission system could use some improvements but the problems you outlined don't reflect the mission system as it currently stands: 1. You CAN request missions from other computer players once you've earned enough favor with them. How to do this is included in the manual (the printed manual, the pdf shipped with the digital download, and the pdf included with the demo). 2. You start with 0% happiness anyways so failing to do a mission isn't going to make you any wor
