I figured that out right after I made that post. Now the problem I'm having is wherener I try to play the map I've made the game instantly ends in defeat.

How can I make a map more than 2 players using galaxy forge?
Someone had said something about officers? This could be a great idea for future mini expansions. I just had an interesting idea of how it could work. I think that when you search a planet , you can sometimes find an untrained officer and/or an artifact. If this comes to pass then I'd also suggest that the maximum level of search be raised so that a planet could be searched 5 times & that the cost range be spread out a bit. The 1st few levels being reasonably inexpensive & pro
Has anyone tried to host any direct IP games yet? Does it work? This was almost always the prefered method in many games of this type I've played before.
Have any of you watched a replay & it looks A LOT different than the game you just played?
I'd like to see a 2nd line of text in the host game screen or perhaps another field for game description. It's not easy to give a description of the style game you are hosting with so little text space to work with. A lot of other strategy games also allow everyone in the game pending screen to see all the game options, switch positions ect. This brings me to another suggestion. Fixed positions option would be a wonderfull addition.
How difficult would it be to addsome more spaces in game titles? It's not easy to give details in a game name with such a short space.
There is something just like that in a mod. 7 deadly sins I think it was.
I'm no athourity with this game however I can answer most of your questions with a bit of usefull info. 1 I see no reason to return fighters to a hangar defense. It is sometimes helpfull to have them return to a carrier so they may rebuild their numbers , but I normally just fall back when my carriers are struggling to keep wings flying & if they have lost support of other ships. 2 Refineries produce a certain number of reinerry ships to assist res harvesting so the m
Finally got it to work. I did a fresh install, patched , coppied & renamed folder , placed S-cut to the exe on desktop & then installed Entrenchment. Like I said before , It's a big hassle when all we really need is a patch you can download & save.
I now see it. It didn't catch my attention at 1st & without clicking on the "read more" link it's a bit unclear what it's trying to impart to a casual user. Thanks again for the help.
I've now tried to uninstall Entrenchment & then reinstall Sins. Now when i try to update I keep getting an eror saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" WTF does this mean? I've tried to uninstall sins and impulse several times now & keep getting the same result. I have to say that I'm getting rather frustrated by now trying to get this to work the way it should of in the 1st place. I'm a big fan of the game , however I'm beginning fee
Thanks alot everyone for the sugestions. I haven't tried any of them yet but I'm sure I'll get it to work. Seems like a long away around to make this happen to me when downloadable patches would do the trick. Anyway... Mery Christmass everyone & a happy new year. [e digicons][/e]
I have the retail disc , so I decided to install Sins to a new directory in hopes of being able to play either version. The Porblem I'm having is that when I try to update I'm redirected to impulse where Entrenchment is installed & the new install does not show up so that I may select it for update. Has anyone managed to make this work & if so how?
I've seen a few games in which the players of the same multi player online game are actually playing a completely different game. Last night I played a game in which An ally & myself double teamed an opponent. We took out his CAP but great cost to us both because he was building Carriers at an amazing rate for being so early game. I wanted to see how he had managed this so I watched the replay & discovered that he had not managed carriers
