I've thought about embargo and I think I have the answer that allows it to not be OP early game, but still useful late game. Basically, I think it should be empire based and not planet based, and then reduce the embargo to levels around 10%-30%. This way, it doesn't kill you early game, and as the game advances, it's value increases. Perahps there would also be away to scale it based on the value of the planet compared to the total empire credit output, but that
You know you play this game too much when you start to run out of room on your SSD and you realize that your auto-record folder for SoaSE is over 4 GB.
Whip, it starts out at 10 for locked teams, 0 for unlocked. It's always been like that.
Good changes and thank you for continuing to support this game.
Hey, I'm back from vacation. Get Star to write your review and I'll revise the post.
WTF, the answer is no. The guy fighting on the flank only needs one or two civ labs to SEND envoys to the guy, he never has to tech his races pacts. They made envoys only 8 fleet supply each, and you can get a max of 2 points per planet, so 32 fleet supply points can get you all the pacts.
Ok, yes, I pretty much always pick the egg; however, if I know I am going to rush, I will use a carrier cap. I was against the buff to carrier caps and still am, but my reasoning is much simpler than everyone else's. From my point of view, in the beginning of the game, you are trying to maximize DPS/$, and quite simply, carrier caps offer the highest DPS of any capital ship early on. Now I know why the buff was made, mainly to make carrier caps relevant post v1.1 in vani
WHIP, never plant seeds of despair in my mind like that again.
This game is great at sorting people. People with no patience are weeded out as quick as you can say "uninstall". OP, consider yourself sorted into the "I have to think hard, and it hurts" category. If you want to take out some rage on me, feel free, my ICO name is Carpetbomb. I'll make you want to uninstall the game again.
You summed it up perfectly. Also, to the OP, you
Another possible diplomacy bug. It becomes impossible to break any treaties you have with defeat players, essentially forcing you to have a dead weight diplomatic actions modifier for the rest of the game. Maybe its intentional, but I would think after a player bites the dust you should be given the chance to find fresh alliances elsewhere.
Why would you want to ally with losers? I kid, I kid.
Pricing Pact is bugged. It increases the cost of resources, not decrease.
Yes, I'm trying to ween you off smurfing so you will be able to cope with Impulse: Reactor, which will replace ICO for Rebellion.
Yarlen, I can't find it in the change log, but it appears that the relationship boost per planet has changed from 1.50 to 2.00. Was this intentional or a bug? Not that I mind, I think the increase makes sense. Also, the envoys can't use their population increase on your own planets. Is this intentional or a bug? I would think you should be able to increase your own population if you wanted to. Same thing goes for other passive and non-passive envo
It's not a loss unless you press the surrender button. For whatever reason, most people don't press surrender. Therefore, what you must do is look at games played and look at wins and determine the percentage on your own. I know it sounds stupid, but it's something that has never been fixed. When you see me on, you'll notice my losses are much higher because I do press surrender. [DT]Howthe?
So when is this schuled to come out?
Not to sound too rude, but try to read the replies before asking a question.
DT will fight against BIA any day of the week. Would be awesome to get some clan games going.
So, when will v1.3 be released?
Looking at this list today, there are many great players who have come and gone. The sad thing is, this game died long ago.
Where have you been? Multiplayer has been picking up lately.
Honestly, I think they're DT smurfs. I have DyNaSTy and NiNJa pretty much confirmed.
WaSSerMaN I think is chose/Eagle-Imperial ER-ror is also around
I'm not against clans (I'm in one), and I'm not against new clans, but I am against a clan that is essentially a bunch of smurfs. If you are so ashamed of your original username that you won't tell anyone, then I can only assume that I've blacklisted you and you are trying to hide your identity. Good luck trying to play games clan ER, because you won't be in mine.
Both supply cost and build time have been reduced substantially. The upcoming dev journals will delve into the Envoys new abilities, the updated Pacts and more.
I hope not too much reduced. In multiplayer, the first team to fleet supply pact usually wins. If you make it so the economy guy never has to increase fleet supply to get it, then the game will end very quickly and may not be fair to the other team
Thank you for the help guys. Post has been updated. Keep the reviews coming.
ICO player counts are up into the 80's now. I think people are coming back on board, and I think the fix in ICO lag is what is convincing them to stay. Well done Yarlen!
