I think we should try again next week at the same day/time, only 4v6. GG guys.
Howdidudothat
Carbon...it's 7:08 PM.
Yes, I'll try to post it.
From other team, 30 minutes after the start: "How the ...?"
I'm usually a good host. If it isn't up I'll get it going with a password. Just join the game channel and whisper for the password.
See you guys 7PM EST tomorrow.
LOL at OP. I build refineries all the time. It's a matter of finding the right place and balancing your income loads. If you find yourself constantly buying resources, it's often better to get a refinery or two so that you don't have to always click those buttons and focus on battle micro. When I find the right planet, I build 3 refineries (12+ extractors within a jump). One time, I had a desert surrounded by 12 neutral extractors, 3
Agreed that 7:00 PM EST is good. I'm in the US east coast, and I'd still prefer the 7 PM time. I like sleep.
From OP:
Current plan: The game will be on Saturday 26th, time TBA but probably after dinner in the US. Pro/ICO Players [DT]Star Player (Nightraid3r) Mecha-Lenin Howdidudothat Greg30007 Modders GoaFan77 Krdax Drkrun Sinperium Draakjacht? SpardaSon21 Ue_Carbon?
Quar wants in too.
Just think, the days of waiting 2 hours for a 5v5 might be coming to an end.
Can I eco? LoL. A long time ago, I had a smurf that was named "I'm going eco"
Wow, going on Steam must have really opened up the flood gates to ICO. Player counts were near 200 Saturday evening, which is about as high as they were when the game launched back in 2008.
There's still a mesh error???
its more likely the modders will win.
They're not there. The stupid part applies to you :P
Update: This patch does not change your settings. Please take note IC/Stardock, we like our settings to remain undisturbed during updates.
I suggest PM.
I have a bad feeling all my settings will be reset again... Is there no way for them to make a patch that doesn't overwrite settings?
I really don't know, from what I understand the average 5v5 game can go from a bit under an hour to no more than two. ICO regulars please correct me on this. Of course we may need a bit of time to get everything set up before hand.
I've seen games go 5 hours, but that's rare. I have a suspicion the teams will be stacked on the "pros" favor, so I'd lean to an hour. Not to be harsh on the modders, but I ha
Diplomacy has the most bug fixes and is the most stable on ICO. Entrenchment also hasn't benefited much from some of the balance changes. To be truthful, besides having to research feed, most diplomacy games are played like Entrenchment.
Are we going to play a mod or Diplomacy? I'd vote for standard Diplomacy, as most of us online have never played a mod.
I'll play.
mainly I'd like to see the one glaring exploit against star bases alleviated.
Agreed, I think there are some things they should fix so that z-axis use can't be used to negate certain parts of the game. I do like some of the options z-axis gives you.
Also, star bases and mines were not part Sins at the time.
I don't have the time or patience to search for it, but those problems were identified during Entrenchment development, and the dev's basically said that the use of the z-axis was a valid tactic. I'm not saying I completely agree, but you all need to understand that the existence of the z-axis is deliberate and that it's not going anywhere anytime s
I'll just leave this here:
Sins is 3D and the people saying otherwise are simply spreading FUD. Ships can move in 3D space (it's no longer the ~ key in the final, though) and structures are no longer placed on the 2D plane like in Beta 4. If someone wants to play in full 3D, they can. If someone doesn't, they don't have to because the game will automatically take care of moving in 3D to deal with objects/ships on the z-axis.<
Mecha, you are the epitome of internet forum users. You don't know how to argue, so you resort to personal attacks. I've also noticed that if you get beat by a tactic, you create a forum post to remove the tactic from the game. How about you just learn how to counter what you see in game?
