It is truly awesome that you few can do things like this that so many of us can benefit from. I wish I could mod (code?) like this. As Hf stated, will it be able to branch, have multiple concurrent steps? I have quests in mind but they might be too epic for my xml capabilities.

Just another thought for your Gnomes race: why not include halflings and dwarves with the gnomes and make it a littlefolk or something. Since the devs are adding non-champ magic users, you could suit the gnomes for INT, halflings for DEX, and dwarves for STR just as D&D would put them. Just a thought. Then, obviously, along these lines you could have all the different varieties of elves, too.

Well, we must be playing different MoMs then, because I sincerely do not feel the way you guys feel about this game. First, let's establish that v1.4 (insectidice) is a non-developer mod and thus cannot truly be considered part of the game for review's sake. Would you review Civ4 more favorably with FFH2? M&B:W with Floris? E:WoM with heavenfall's mod? Second, statements like "You're doing it

I have "fall further" but Civ 4 mechanics seem like a collection of poorly seamed ideas rather than a seamless integration. I love the immersion of lore of FFH2 but it is still built on top of Civ 4, which I just can't like. I was really hoping FE would be the modern combo of FFH2 and Civ 4, maybe? There are plenty of things I don't like about Civ, too. That is for a different forum, though.

I often talk to my dad, who is into TBS games also, about how I feel concerning the nostalgia and novelty of all the old NES/SNES games we had when I was young. He agrees with me but points out that he's been in computers since monochrome green and record size floppies and he would never want to go back to what they had "back in the day." "Be happy with what's out now," he says. [quote who="Spitz" reply="2" id="3074477"]That being said, I really liked the way MoM used mana for

After reading everyone reminisce about the glory days of Master of Magic (1995), I decided to pony up the $5.99 at GOG.com and give it a try. Until this week, I had never played MoM. Heresy! I know. Back then I was playing the crap out of Final Fantasy I and II (US) and loving them. Computers weren't on my list of fun until '97 or '98 (Diablo/Civ 2) and certainly not in 1995. Therefore, I find myself today playing a game in DOS

May I suggest that someone make a "floris" type mod; an aggregate of all other major mods compiled into one "seamless" collection. Also, please define assets; do you mean unique work not available through the game? i.e. ravenx's skins, your new tiles, heavenfall's everything? Or anything not vanilla? As in simple content mods that anyone can make?

That is saying that, in the equation, there is only a 10% chance she will give birth, how ever often the equation calculates. Other things of note: 100 Before your kids can do anything 20 Before she can have another 50 Before kids can marry to another fa
