I really did like the spore module that the Koranth Clan had in GC2.. I always felt like that was the most fun race to play if I just felt like being a jerk...

How easy would it be to drop in a color randomizer for the Custom Race icons? (ie the little coat-of-arms insignia type thing). Similar to the ship randomization scheme, but a lot simpler. For example, you can just hit the Altarian coat of arms, and hit a 'randomize color' button a few times so that it looks unique (like orange or something instead of light blue). It was my impression that drop-in randomized races was a back-burner goal anyway, but
Haven't played for a while, so been plugging around on a couple of 'gifted' AI games. Have to say the pirate nerf to sensor range = 2 was a really nice tweak to make pirates a whole lot less annoying... cheers
Curious, is there a known bug with the leader portrait/background with custom races? I was just trying to put one together and can't get rid of the human-dude as the leader picture. There only appears to be the option to use your own custom image/vid instead of selecting between the Stardock ones. Also if you click "done" in the customize window it appears to crash the game..? cheers,
it's a cool game. Mostly for the novelty that it's an indy-one-dude-creation or whatever. It's a good game, I played it a while when it first came out. Pretty linear and when you get your city going it pretty much levels out with nothing to do. Haven't played it since then so unsure if it's been updated to be deeper, or how the mod scene is (I don't think there were mods when I played, or maybe just a couple to fix bugs).
meh, whatever, fuck yahoo.. The end result is just an arms race ending with sophisticated users not seeing ads and the 90% having a shittier browsing experience. Pretty much how the rest of real life already is anyway... The place where this really sucks though is at work, where users don't actually have all that much control over the terminals they're using...
To answer your question: We were under NDA. And also the steam data was something you wanted, especially early for the AI...
All of these things are slated to be addressed (although Torians haven't been officially confirmed, just mentioned - so a replacement if not a return could be surmised). Note, you could always create a custom race of humping frogs if it's really bothering you.. [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] cheers
I don't get why people feel the need for debt interest to be paid off with funds. The way your business, and indeed a lot of businesses in real life, pay for the itnerest is by stacking more ddebt. This means your borrowing money, to pay off the interest for money you borrowed. It owrks in real-life, it works in this game.
Well, I think that the point of the discussion is that it only works
the game could automatically sell your resources to pay the interest, starting with the highest priced resources. Free market fundamentalists like to point out how 'irresponsible' governments are (and therefore you should oppos
Well, if it makes you feel any better, I just bought Endless Legend. I've heard it's fun, and I already own LH.. But yea, in life the "most popular" is seldom actually "the best." Especially with media...

I was curious, were there plans with SC to offer a lifetime subscription model as with the Ashes and GC3 'founders elite' ? Thanks,
Reviews are mixed, only 61% positive on Steam, if this tells you anything... This one also caught my eye - as with most games that I'm not founding/kickstarting, I figured I'd give it a second look when it hit $10.. cheers,

Windows 10 popups are super annoying, and the latest round of Microsoft Windows Update attempts to automatically select Windows 10 as an 'optional' update (and thus try to trick users into installing it). Is there any way to add a Start8 setting that would disable windows 10 popups??? I'm so sick of these notifications and have no way of turning the damn things off. Thus far, I have seen no compelling reason to use
