I guess he means that the only way to play multiplayer is the server software and they arn't releasing the server software so the only way to play multiplayer is via thier servers which means the server has the AI/calculations. The question is IF they release the custom server software, will it be nessesary to authenticate via internet to join it (then Elemental is totaly not a LAN game at all). Pah, its not futile to make a fantasy MMO while WoW is alive. You just have to not expect much succsess... Lets look at TERA, really sexy looking Castanics and the High Elfs are okay. I use the X-Com version. A Terrorist is usually a large (4 square!) fat unit usualy with a big cannon or a power bite than will get stuck in closets and constantly walk around corners during thier trun. They have lots of health and are best delt with by dropping lots of explosives on them.* *Unless its some kind of zombifying unit which is far more dangrous and its best to carpet the entire area with everything you have regardless of civilian casualtys.

When I was into LAN parties it was in a shed, where the best connection was 56K over a hundred meters away... Not only that but most of the people didn't have that much money and mostly used pirated games. I was one of the few (only?) who didn't and actualy put lots of money into games and hardware (I provided all the interconectiveity, even some LAN cards with on site upgrades heh).

I guess the problem is that I, at least, rate games very badly for small mistakes - not bugs. Disicions that were made that were bad i.e. the camera stuff in Bioshock is NOT fun imo. It should just be about doing different stuff AT ANY TIME IN THE GAME should get you points, not having to shuffle around with differnt keys blah blah. Stuff like that brings the 'game' donw. Now if you seperate it out into story from the other aspects then BioShock does go up several 'points' in that are

The ONLY reason im not actually insulting this game (unlike AlienShock and RetroShock the other games their publisher is working on) is because of Ken. Kenny boy. Kenzor. He made Theifs and some system shocky and some swat 4s, all top games so Im going to buy it, play it, finish it but I already don't like the art style (which he loves it appears - listen to GWJ podcast). Hes already won basically, so it BETTER be good.

I would love to play a game based around being an insurgent in Iraq or somewhere. There are books and films about such things but they are generally the opposite of what people are thinking about MoH Multiplayer i.e. for publicity (Im not sure, probably is though). There are other shaders that have this function which should also benifit from the change I think. Doing a quick find in files serach they would be: GS_Asteroid.fx GS_ShipPhasedOut.fx GS_ShipBuilding.fx GS_Ship.fx GS_Planet.fx Just checked them all and its just the same function so the same 'fix' should work on them all.

I remember battlefield 2 use to 'optimise your porn collection' when you changed the graphics settings, that could take 5 mins plus then the 2 minuet level load... Ugh. So glad I have an SSD now (and a pretty good 1.5TB for the rest).
