Forum Bug? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Just, general oddity - the forum wasn't showing a post of mine, and after clearing cache and such/ctrl f5 et al, on impulse I manually changed the URL to page 3; and there sits my post, on page 3 of a 2 page thread. Presumably will fix itself when something updates - probably by the time anyone sees this, but it seemed like the kind of odd behavior that might be worth noting. Assuming of course that this post isn't on page 1 of 0 - {G}. Jonnan

When going [prev][next] in the colony screen, it should take the order from the F6-[colony] tab sort order. Right now it's seems to be in order of colonization date, arguably the *least* useful non-random order, and the only one *not* accessible from the colony tab where it might actually *be* a useful order to look at stuff in - {G}. Odd Bug/Cheat - probably worked before 1.99, but I wasn't aware of it - I had a planet outside the range of my 'large' colony ships, but had one near the edge of it's range, upgraded to the default model, and to my surprise it worked. The system will happily let you 'upgrade' a colony ship with 'X' number of colony pods on it to a smaller faster colony ship that should have less people on it - but plants the original number of colonists on the upgraded ship/colony. I love having tech brokering off - it makes it fundamentally easier to work techs tactically if they don't go any further. I tend to think that you're not looking back far enough - the 1980's "Reagan" really traces it's roots back the 1940 to 1890's era.
