I like the combat system but it sucks if you walk into a building and you cant get the sword out in time.. hope they fix that in the new one.(let us open the door with weapon drawn) plus those of us with widescreen monitors having squares in all the cutscenes.

I would pcik at least one cap ship ability you want each one to auto use.. then use the others manually. Also you can use concentrated fire on the repair ships early with your bombers to change the battle... use alt and left click to select all of one type of ship to do this so that you dont mess with your healing ships.

I could agree with that. Of course, wouldn't you want your children to benefit from your hard work? Also I don't like people being able to purchase copyrights from someone else.. Its just because I use sikantra's to heal instead since they have a large area affect and put more attack cruisers in the fleet instead of overseers that way.

Sound more like thats a bug that needs to be fixed then(the angle part). And your saying the only difference in the strategic veiw from each is that the first one puts a frame around it .... big deal you still see the whole map at once

If your talking about how far it jumps with each click that can be changed in the options menu. I think there is a key you can hold to zoom in and out slower or faster as well.

They are doing a similar thing with CnC 4 right now... If you buy CnC3/Kanes wrath you cant register it to play online to force you to buy the new one. And when you ask for help on the forums they act deliberatley obtuse and act like you were talking about CnC 4 and point you in that direction....Maybe we should start putting up posters and websites to boycott EA games. Hell I've already personally boycotted them.

I dont think drm cut sales on CnC 4 anyway.. Its been on Gamestops top 5 best sellers list for 3 or 4 months(unfortunately for those who bought it) . mIts fine for impulse to have drm titles but should give a nice warning that the game has it so we are informed. Unfortunately for me I didnt know supcom 2 had this until too late.

I might add if you are losing a battle dont keep building frigates and throw them at the battle..(sending in one ship at a time is suicide the enemy just concentrates fire and they get decimated... Just rebuild a second fleet behind the front line then counter attack

I do keep some overseers(5-10) in late game but I guess I go for more of a quick kill fleet. In late game with all supply used I only use 2 armies with similar makeup.......2 kortuls 2 sikantras(which I use for healing and manual cast of bombers) 2 evacuators 1 marauder and 1 devastator... Are you upgrading the planets health right away after getting it.. If you dont it costs you money instead of gaining it .. Also you need to build on the resource asteroids right away!!! If you see colored lines coming your way then you need to research and build media centers to stop it from making your planets revolt...
