Its just EA's way to get money off of poorly made games... For example CnC 4 had a public beta.. Everyone tried it found out it sucked and didnt buy it.. They dont want that ot happen again so now they will charge for it.. I have already stopped buying any games with EA on it so it won't effect me!!!

When most game dev companies go down I usually see all their patches and support material offered on a 3rd party site anyway. Plus games are the largest grossing entertainment business for the past 5 years so I dont see how that can be considered a downward spiral. Plus its not like game companies are investing is bad mortgages. Is everyone also forgetting that Wow and Aion exist? They both gross over 20 million a month!!! Sounds like failure to me!!

they are both very important to have if you want to be able to support alot of starbases. Otherwise you will find yourself economically behind in late game. Look at planet bonuses... I have actually just beat 1 v 9 vicious... they are still pretty stupid. I had 2 planets on the frontline with fully upgraded starbases and instead of concentrating a large fleet to take out one of them the AI instead sent 2 smaller fleets (2 caps and 30 ships) against both planets simultaneously which let me easily decimate them.

That is true my 300 watt per 5970 was non overclocked. But why would you overclock since if you have one of these beast machines there is no point until you find something it cant handle.. Which should be at least a few years down the road.
