I had quite a bit of success with Tristana and a support Nunu and support Shen on my main account last night. Tristana really is strong early game with a decent setup with your lane partner. It's also really fun forcing people into Nunu's ult with my knockback or stopping multiple people from escaping with a well timed rocket jump. Shen's taunt is also a lot of fun to setup kills. Not to mention setting up a rocket jump, while Shen ults to you for a nasty surprise. There

Appreciate the response Jon :) I'm a little surprised at the hostility towards campaigns to be honest. To me, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want an added layer of playability to a game. You don't have to touch the campaign at all if you don't want, but please don't dismiss it entirely for those that are interested...

Never really had an interest in trying Heroes of Newerth, but I would probably give DOTA 2 a try, although I never played the original in Warcraft 3. Good games last night Pacov. Although I think we have yet to properly be tested in bottom lane, we are definitely getting a better idea of each other's playstyles. I have actually rarely played Tristana, so it's quite helpful to practice with her. Her play style synergizes with Ali quite well actually. I think we can really set u

My guess is that the aliens wanted to make Noah into some kind of sleeper agent for them, possibly with some sort of adult version of the harness. It would be cool to get an inside look at the 'starbases' this season. Vive le resistance?

I thought we generally did well together. Still getting a feel for balancing our aggression levels. The last game, we really should have won, but we didn't have enough CC to stop Poppy/Fiora and Fiora got too fed from weak top lane. If I had been a carry with an attack steroid, life would have been a lot easier. Poppy's late game is so strong.

I expect a re-release. Considering the direction taken with the Dragon Age franchise after Origins, any new release would be such a disappointment to the original fans. -insert- "streamlining" "accessibility" "appealing to wider audience and new players"

I've always liked campaigns. It's great for a first playthrough. My only issue would be if the sandbox mode suffered in any way. I thought the scenarios/missions in Fall From Heaven were fun.

@Pacov I was kind of thinking of making a smurf actually. I'm finding it more fun to just play around these days than stagnating on solo queue. I will use your referral link when I get around to making the account (possibly tonight) edit: play around isn't what I really mean. Learning specific roles is important to me too.

Figures after finally getting my computer going, I get extremely sick with the flu... I should be on tonight though. Would love to play a game! Maokai is a lot of fun. People underestimate his damage and the usefulness of his ult. I think his strongest role right now is jungling. TheOddOne has a good guide here: http://solomid.net/guides.php?g=11784 He isn't bad as a bottom support role either, but it isn't always eas
Didn't you just say highly rated? How does that go hand in hand with a crap show like Falling Skies?
Ratings don't always pertain to critical ratings. I was referring to the viewership ratings. The show premiered with 5.9 million viewers which is very high for cable and for TNT. Terra Nova has already been canceled and Alcatraz is likely to be as well. I stand by my earlier point.

I'm thankful to have any highly rated Sci-Fi show on TV at all...Considering the rebranding to Syfy, cable is our best hope for anything new. I wouldn't expect to see a lot of spending in this genre for the foreseeable future, especially with the recent ratings failures for Terra Nova and Alcatraz. I admit the show isn't fantastic, but it adequately scratches an itch and it's not like there are a lot of other options right now.

Sounds intriguing. So it's a hybrid of RTS and DOTA essentially? That could be tricky to make both elements fun. Also, if you had a bad commander it could ruin your game, despite having stronger players as the Heroes. Looks like the Publisher (Infinite Games) is also behind Mechwarrior Online.

Was anyone asking for a fundamental change to combat? Legitimately asking. It's always had issues. I mean there was nothing more frustrating than a battleship losing to a settler in the 1st one! Losing on 95+% chances of victory in Civ IV caused me many facepalms, but it didn't turn me off the game. Maybe it's just me... I never felt that the Civ series deliberately tried to cash in on itself before Civ V. I bought every expansion and didn't regret it. Now I feel like
