i am not using any virtualization or emulater on my computer
that would explain the problems with the mac of the guy above me, but any ideas on mine? its a pc that was able to run it previously...
i am having the same problem on my computer, however i do not have a mac. On mine, the launcher opens up, but once you press play game, nothing happens other than the fact that the launcher disappears. The computer that i am using was previously able to run Sins, but i uninstalled to get out of the beta and after reinstalation through impulse, the game is not working.
aww... i feel extremely stupid now... my problem with colors, etc. was because i missed the fine print after video requirements... Radeon 9600 or better... i guess i ditch my 9250 and go back to my intel integrated chipset =\
still no color on ships X-( and no reflective on the Progenitor and see through planets maybe its my graphics card :NOTSURE:
yeah, it is darker, but i'm not getting any reflections off of it on highest settings
what happened to the reflectons? i have the beta on highest and there are none =[
i messed with all the options that mentioned team color, and got the symbol and empire tree back to my color, but no combination of the options seems to get the color back on the ships also, is the texture/color change on the progenitor class Advent cap ship permanent or a bug? it no longer is the light colored reflective metal it used to be but a dull black... which i'm not sure i like
The download worked fine for me... just a couple things i noticed though will there be a fix for the transparent planets problem that occurs with some older video cards? I have an ATI Radeon 9250 (256 MB) that meets minimum requirements, but have transparent planets other things i noticed -when ships go into hyperspace all but a couple random parts of them disappear completely -same with when they are being built also, what happened to player colors? are the
hmmm, messing with the sttings hasnt done anything, i'll check to make sure that i have the latest driver, but my card is second hand, and no new drivers are being made, so I might have to deal with it
ok, i'll try that
i just got a new video card, or actually a used one, an ATI Radeon 9250 which is an upgrade form my previous integrated one On my old integrated one the planets were all solid as well as the stars, but now my planets are all transparent
uhh, i have the same problem, what did you do?
