Instead of going around bonking heads like it usually would, a dread lord frigate is holing up in its homeworld. It's been there, at full health, for like 30 turns. I have a fleet of transports just waiting for an opportunity. If I throw ships at it, they get it down to 1 HP, then fail to finish off that 1 HP. The fact that I'm playing the campaign through DA, with DA's rules, might have something to do with this. Is there any reliable way to lure that thing out of its hidey hole,
Also, the bugs are the only thing that would deter me about the fantasy game. Can we have a promise around that?
All 4x games and expansions ship with a truckload of bugs and oversights. It's a symptom of making games that have so much content and so many different systems and variable details. Can't avoid that, not even with extensive beta testing. The best you can do is be quick about fixing the bugs reported on your forum, which apparently Stardock is pretty good at.<b
Civ4 has the best multiplayer of any TBS game, which is, to use a tired old analogy, like winning the gold medal in the special olympics. It sucks less than other TBS multiplayer but it still sucks. Kudos to Stardock for not wasting time, money, and feature space attempting to do the impossible.
Great, thanks.
I hear tell that TA is buggy, unplayable shit right now - not entirely surprising or unforgivable, since it's brand new and ironing out all the bugs in something with as much content as a 4X game on the first try is just impossible. So what I want to do is buy the full pack, install DL + DA, wait for a TA patch that fixes the major problems in introduces, then install that. Can it be done? I'd rather not resort to buying Gold and then buying TA separately once a good patch comes out, beca
