Ok thank I tried that but the problem still persists. I am also running the both on my laptop and it has no problems. seem to only affect my desktop the only main differnce being that the laptop ruining xp home media centre eddtion with sp2 I might try posting on the vlc boards to see if they can help

my vlc media displays and oranage screen when using object dock plus if i disable the doc vlc works fine i am running both on dell dimension 4700 4 gigs ram xp home sp3 the system is also running stardock free alienware theme the issue only started when I updated to plus version the free version didnt affect vlc If anyone knows where the issue maybe where one interfering with the other. Vlc is the only sw affect media player 11 and media player classic
