Mr. Douglas: As you may have already guessed your comment is far too technical for a newbie like me. It does not seem right that your welcome text should be hidden. If you require assistance (you may not, but if you do) then you can always contact [email protected] . Sorry I'm not more helpful!

Bebi: So sorry I didn't see this sooner. I have also played around witht he hue shifting and, while cool, it seems to be a bit of a guess as to which color you are getting. You are correct, this IS a good tutorial topic. I shall have to look into it and write an article. There must be a better way! Thanks for the suggestion.
Ahhh Citizen IIIAIKOIII, I am but a humble writer of articles about the basics and am not able to help with what seems (to me) to be a rather technical problem. I shall have to direct you to [email protected] , and mayhaps you will find what you truly seek there. Sorry!
Thanks all, clearly I have not been keeping up with reading the comments. Chef Garry and danilloOc: you might contact [email protected] . I really am a newbie, and can't offer much int he way of technical support. Sorry! boopish: Ah, Object Bar...I'll look into that. Haven't learned either that or Object Dock yet. Rather embarassed about that...<IMG src="htt
EXCELLENT point Danny. Just what I was trying to say - but you said it so much more succinctly. And thank you both foreverserenity and BlueDev.
Danny - so sorry to hear about your computer. Although I'm sure you could get a system for under $1000, I don't know that it would be a system that you would want. Might not play games like you'd like it to, etc. Also, you have my e-mail addres, so please feel free to keep in touch that way. (BTW, sorry I haven't been online lately. I, too, have been hiding). Re: Being a househusband - right on! I hope you can find the right woman who will make you happy; I'm sure that
Well, you are way out of my league. I only recently figured out how to do any quoting at all.
There have been several posts now that deal with what should and shouldn't be posted on JoeUser. Some believe that this site should be exclusively for political articles, some think the site owners should not post articles that contain personal thoughts, and some think that JoeUser and WinCustomize shouldn't be linked. <P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0px; MARGIN-BO
Need proof? I have nothing against free software. I use a lot of free software. In fact, I use free software whenever I can. I'll take free over commercial any day if it does what I need it to do. But there is nothing inherently magical about free software. And the downside is that most free software I run into (not all of course, there are very well k
There is a book called the "Odd Girl Out: The Hidden Culture of Aggression in Girls" (Phyllis Chesler) which basically states that society sees girls as "sugar and spice and everything nice". Girls are aware of this, and play off this stereotype, and yet are completely vile to each other when no one is looking. Having been on both ends of the spectrum I can agree that women are neither perfect angels to be worshiped, nor are they demons to be vilified. We're just women. It would be nice if
When I hear stuff like this it makes my little heart go pitter-patter - and not just because I am also a sci-fi reader. There are probably other uses for a powered exoskeleton than just military. I say, "you go, crazy guy in Alaska"! I also love the fact that Alaska guy took it upon himself to build his own suit. That is so cool! Thanks for the info Wanderer!
You probably know this stuff already but: I never put in an objective any more. I don't think anyone misses it, so you can easily do away with this part of it. As for nice paper, I try and stick with something that is off-white and a little nicer than plain xerox paper but don't get too fancy. The idea here is to prove that the resume you are giving them is an original. Never EVER give anyone a photocopied resume. I agree with you about the references, although mine
I'm always looking for new stuff, and I like to hear what other people like. Here are some of my favorites. Let me know what some of yours are!!
I get enough exercise smashing the snooze button on my alarm.
I don't know you and you don't know me and until 5 seconds ago I didn't know you were up for a job...and yet when I read this blog I felt quite happy for you. And I think this is what I like about JoeUser: you can hear good news from a total stranger and feel good for them. Congratulations! Good luck with the new job, may it be everything you dreamed.
Alarm goes off at 5:00 am. Time to go to the gym!!!! Alarm goes off at 7:00 am. Time to get up and shower!!!
Take your time Danny. As much as I am interested in hearing the story, I also know it's very painful and personal to you. You should write it when the time is right - when it will be a cathartic release rather than a tidbit of gossip. I think it's a good thing that you are working through it as much as you are.
You must do what's best for you. When do you go back to the states?
Awww! Too bad. Well, I'm glad at least you got an answer. Thanks for sharing.
Returning to work - wow! GREAT news! Thank you so much for keeping us all updated.
ch waqar: Welcome newbie! I am also a newbie, and perhaps much more than you because I can't even understand your question much less begin to formulate a coherent response (although if you read anything I've written on this site I think you'll see that "coherent responses" are not my forte). However, I wanted to let you know that if you are not getting a response and still need help you could contact [email protected] . Good luck! <img src="http://imag
Meowy: I don't know TweakUI, I'll have to check it out. Thanks! clwoods: some keyboards are different. In my case the print screen button is located in a group of 3 buttons on the top right of the keyboard. After all the function keys (F1 - F12) it goes print screen, scroll lock and then pause/break. It is possible that the button won't say "print screen", it might just say "prnt" or something like that. Hope this helps! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" bor
See, now, this is what happens when I go out of town and have no computer to check on things happening with my virtual life. Sorry all! I will try and find answers and get back to you ASAP.
Hi all, sorry for the late response to your postings, but I have been out of town all this week. Mr. Archangel Douglas: do you mean you posted a message on the forums and no one has responded? I am sorry to hear that. Sometimes it's quicker to contact [email protected] for help when no one is responding to a message on the forums. In fact, for you and citizen guardian 1962 I'll have to direct you to support since I don't know the answer to
Bebi: Thanks! I haven't seen some of the stuff you have up on your page, so I'll have to spend some time checking them out. Very cool! (Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I've been out of town.) I can'think of anything better to do with my Friday than to check out some cool skins I haven't seen yet!
