Try updating both to the latest non-beta version and see if it's the theme in objectdock. I have objectdock and window FX both running and I haven't had any problems with them.

I've got Vista installed. Instead of using a partition I put it on another 40 GB drive. I don't have a DVD-burner so I installed XP SP1 on the other drive, put the image and a mounting program on there, and then installed Vista. With Vista, I notice a very big difference on graphics. Even when it said my computer was a 1 in the perforance rating, I still see it fast. I haven't had any major problems with it yet, but I refuse to use it as my main OS. In

I just got the file, after 28 hours of downloading. At least it didn't take 10 days like on a dial-up connection. I have 256kb DSL and I still like how fast it downloads things compared to Dial-up. I also checked the file using the MD5 hash and it checked out on that. On to partitioning the drive and installing Vista.

Dang, $450 is a lot, and I'm more than likely to get that version of Vista just because I want to have the advanced features. I might have to upgrade to a complete newer computer than the one I have now. The one I have now is not exactly up-to-date. It's XP Home (I didn't want to upgrade when Vista was coming out soon) with 2.7 Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB HD, and a Radeon 7500 video card. About the handles thing, I have so much stuff running on m

The copyrighting info was great, but I just need to know how to get the borders to show up in IE. The borders work fine in Firefox, but IE refuses to show them. I think I read somewhere that the order of the border-width matters in IE, but I don't know. I'll keep working with it and see what happens.

Ok, I just got my website on the internet, now I need to know two things. First, if I come up with a really cool design for the page, do I have to get a copyright for it, or is it already copyrighted? Second, how do you get the borders to work in IE? Link to site: Link I tried looking this up, but as always I found nothing but crap.

I don't know what to do. Any time a program uses Direct X, the computer locks up. I tried updating my video drivers, but now my computer will not start up with the Video Card write and read control set to on. I have an ATI Radeon 7500 video card with the latest catalyst (6.4). No games work and even scrolling in the browser is unbearably slow.

For some reason, the new beta of ObjectDock has an activation on it and it won't activate on my computer. I think it is partly due to the way I bought ObjectDock. See Stardock's store would not let me log in so I created another e-mail address for it. Well, just to have it on my e-mail address that my other purchases are on, I went to the change e-mail address page and changed it to the one with all the purchases. So, now ObjectDock won't activate, in

Ok, I backup and restored my computer back which took all night. Anyway, just a few minutes ago, IE messed up again. This time I figured out why. Fresh Download is to blame and I knew instantly that it was the problem because I installed it on my dad's computer and it had the same result. Now that I know the problem I won't install it again. I'm so glad I figured it out and that it's not the work of a virus.

If I do restore my computer back to the original state, I just need to know some things: Is WildTangent spyware/adware? Is Backweb any threat to my computer? I have planned to restore my computer back tonight after I backup everything onto my other HD. Plus I will be getting Nortan's System Works to help since system restore has only helped me 2 out of 20 times I've used it. It's definitely going to be a long night.

I tried that IE tab extension on my computer, but it doesn't work when the rendering engine is set to IE because IE can't connect to the internet. So far I'm beginning to think that IE not connecting is the work of a virus and not a registry error. I just don't understand how it can go unnoticed for 2 weeks.

Ok, this is very weird. This same behaviour happen on my dad's computer. I just have a few questions on this. Is there any possible way that a virus could be transmitted throught an mp3 file?

I'm not sure if this is a duplicate thread, but I did a basic check and didn't find anything. Anyway, while trying to fix Internet Explorer on my computer I came across this website Link What do ya'll think about it?

Wait, before I do this I have an update on the situation. IE will only connect to secure sites. It brings them up just fine (e.g. https://www.logmein.com), but all the rest of the unsecure sites don't work. I have never heard anything so strange before, has anybody here?

Well, I have no clue of what to do. IE still doesn't work. I traced what dlls the yahoo toolbar uses and I removed the yahoo toolbar by using add/remove programs. I went into the registry and deleted any traces of the dll files, but IE still didn't work. If anything this has taught me that you should never download Ashampoo products. If anybody knows how to fix IE so that it will connect to the internet, the help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I seem to have gotten somewhere on how to fix IE. Yesterday, or really last night, I reinstalled the yahoo toolbar by removing everything that had the yahoo name through Add/Remove programs. I then reinstalled yahoo messenger and the toolbar. This time it installed in IE. The strange part is that when the toolbar was reinstalled IE showed up in the firewall list as getting a connection. IE still doesn't go to any website. My thinking on the situat

Hmm few more options to do. Apparently LSP-Fix isn't only tool.. There's also WinsockFix. I have forgotten about that second tool. It didn't fix IE, I tried everything on the list.

I have another question. If I do re-install it by doing the registry change that tricks the OS into thinking it's uninstall, will the IE install from Microsoft install SP2 of IE or not, and if it doesn't install SP2 of IE will the version being install prevent my computer from running?

Ok, I restarted my computer and I removed everything from IE. It still didn't work. Then I came up with an idea to start the computer in safe mode and see if it works there. Well, it doesn't meaning it's most likely a registry error. Does anybody know any good registry programs that might be able to fix IE?

I checked IE settings and the "never dial a connection" is selected. I have a broadband connection and I tried to see if IE works with the setting "Automatically detect settings" checked and unchecked. It failed both ways. I tried running the cleaner programs that xSCORPx suggested and I may need to reboot to see if it works. I'm really hoping I don't have to restore my computer. I have two reasons why I don't want to do this. 1.) It takes 2 to 3 month

Oh, yeah, before I forget, for some reason the Yahoo Toolbar would not install back. I tried to install the same way I did before, but it just would not install.
