The longer my computer is on, say longer than a day, Windowblinds starts painting things slower and slower. I also notice more CPU usage being taken up by this, but yet when I restart the computer, everything runs fast and no matter how many programs I have open, windowblinds will still paint them fast. The only thing that makes everything slow down is when I leave the computer on. I've also tried uninstalling windowblinds to see if the regular vista skin will slow down and it doesn't. <

No matter what program I add to the exclusion list, if it is set to automatically startup, WindowBlinds will still skin the application. I have to close out of the program and open it back up for it to not skin the program. Any ideas?

I have no clue how to change the tooltip color or tooltip text in skinstudio 6 pro. I didn't see anything about it in there so I'm asking in case I missed something.

This to me seems to still not be fixed, and now it's more annoying since it does this almost all the time. Object Dock Plus apparently loses it Z-Order and put it's dock in front of everything except other windows. It is not set to always on top. Here's an example of what I'm talking about.

I'm having the same problem. It seems to happen sometimes when the computer goes on screensaver. It doesn't bring up anything that it crashed, I just notice it's not there cause I use it a lot. The icon will stay in the system tray but as soon as you point to it, it will disappear. It may be a conflict with AVG, it scans my entire computer every night and in the morning is usually when I notice Object Dock not opened. Also, I do have the latest version of Object Dock Plus direc

Yeah, I've not been here for like a year now. I've tried keeping a log in here before but that didn't work out as expected, mainly because I keep a log of what goes on in my life already and it gets time-consuming trying to keep a personal log and one here. Not to mention the fact that I don't think blogging means keeping a personal journal over your life. I don't kno

After hours of playing around with stuff, I have begun to figure out what has made all these problems, of course I don't know what started it in the first place. Before all this, I registered both scripts using to tip Corky_o gave me. Then after playing around with more stuff I found out that in the security tab "Local Service" was missing. I knew some of the services needed this since I've seen it in the properties of the services. So, I added it to have full control to everything on the Harddr

This is really, really annoying. I have lost Script on my computer and can't run some of the services, the taskbar's acting weird and IE has no Javascript functions. I tried downloading and installing Windows Script 5.6 but it won't install without Script on the computer, which is really stupid. I have no clue as to what to do right now. At least I still have good programs like Firefox and Windowblinds that don't use the script.

In the case of your website I'd say adding some interesting content would certainly help and fonts that are kinder on the eye! I try not to make anything smaller than the default font, I thought about adding something on all pages to be able to change the font like on Poweruser's website, http://www.poweruser.tv/, but I don't know if that will

Thanks for all the tips. What I thought about doing is making is a personal site and helping site at the same time, but I have to figure out a better and much more organized way to do that. Yes I know I did too much on the design. I'll try to put more content on there than working on the design. I think because I was limited on the bandwidth and space before that I didn't want to put too much that would make the site really slow, so I only worked on the design. We'll see what I come up with, you

I'm working on the tutorials, right now is basically the submit to search engines stage. Now if I could think of some other things to put on there, anybody have any ideas? Yeah I don't think I'm even allowed to post topless waitresses on my website. I don't want to have the government knocking on my door or have my website banned.

Well the title says it all. I tried to submit it to a lot of search engines and have looked to see if it was put in, but one day it was there, then the next it wasn't. My website is [link="http://www.andybswebsite.com"]http://www.andybswebsite.com">Link just in case you're wondering. I don't like the idea of spamming. How did Wincustomize or even better, how did Stardock get the word out about it's website?

Well I can't skin anything myself, I've tried but failed. I don't like spending days and weeks and months working on a skin or image, yet I don't mind at all working on my website. I don't mind sitting working one and a half years on several PHP scripts and HTML files to make sure every little thing is perfectly aligned and working to the exact way I want it. Sometimes I ask myself why. I don't know why, maybe it's because of the people that I can impress with it, who knows? I do know that I'm n

First, download LSP-Fix,spybot, and ad-aware, look it up on download.com. Then run your computer in safe-mode where most likely nothing but windows itself runs and try scanning to see if it works then. If it does, try to remove everything it finds and if you lose internet connection use the LSP-Fix tool and the only things that should be in there are: mswsock.dll, winrnr.dll, and rsvpsp.dll. Anything else should be deleted.

I too have learned about the dangers of beta software. Remember when the beta SP2 packs were out. Well about a couple of times during the beta I had to restore the computer back because of incompatitbility with drivers. So I told myself that no major beta software was going to get installed. As soon as Vista came out, I planned out everything and that if installing on another drive was not possible then I was not going to install it. I have 3 hds, but only one of them are connected at a time. O

Do you mean on/off as in not appear? Is so, you could try to save your theme and close objectdock everytime you want it gone. That way when you open it back up (eg shortcut on desktop) it will bring up the saved theme.
