no. I thought you said that program would do it. So I've done nothing more, since i do not know what you mean by "purge'. I have two programs that uninstall programs, but I've already uninstalled and reinstalled once with no change. Have you tried that link recently? Do you DL a file that is zero bytes long? Thanks.

What part of "empty" is unclear? there's nothing there. Notpad++ shows it empty. I run it as admin and of course nothing happens, because it is empty. I don't know what else to say. It's as empty as the rest of this post. It is a zero byte file. Thanks,

Lately Deskscape has not been remembering my choices for my 3 monitors. Sometimes it would only remember if I right clicked and selected Configure deskscapes, and they would return, but then it stopped even that. I just updated the program and no improvement. I have tried to change pix from different folders, tried all the same pix, but it defaults to my last Windows 10 choice, instead of what i select. WORSE, now when I try to select another image for my monitors it wil

That's good advice, and that's what I did. I kept Deskscape, as I like the wallpaper control and it seems to stay out of the way well. Fences has never worked right, it moves things around randomly, so I left it uninstalled. I do like the idea of having the copies of the individual programs locally for reinstall. Thanks.

listen, in my original post i said i just reinstalled these programs, so how is reinstalling them any different? This program suite seems to riddled with more issues than features! Today my 2nd monitor has the same wallpaper as my first monitor. Nothing seems to work right or right for very long. Look at the issues list in this forum alone! I had the settings correct. Today on boot the older fences were back after a really, really long boot that seem to launch twice. Then the screens had the same wallpapers although i had set to different one for each. I dragged all the icons from all fences to the desktop and deleted the fences. - This entire display just blinked off and on and did not take my typing input - so the weirdness continues. Well even stranger, i rebooted, no change. I later rebooted again and now the old fences are back from the previous install, as well as the newer unsorted icons. So I guess I'll wait until/if it happens again to try your idea. Totally weird that it could disappear for two boots and then return. Thanks.

Had uninstalled all products to go through a few W10 update cycles to see if old issues improved. Got an email for DS10 so I reinstalled Desktop Object Manager and from there installed DS10, fences, an some others. When I rebooted the old fence boxes were displayed. When I first clicked them they disappeared, AS DID ALL MY ICONS. So now I have only the most recent icons on screen. ALL the others are gone.

now each bootup changes the displays. This last time the primary monitor icons DO NOT FUNCTION; the taskbar is useless, only the 2nd monitor launches from the taskbar. Boot before that the fences switched monitors. This is unacceptable, uninstalling everything....

Last winter Stardock ODM started t display things in places I did not put them. I tried this and that and then uninstalled everything. This last week I reinstalled everything after the latest W10 update. It didn't last a single restart. The fence groups I had created in monitor 1 jumped to M2 and in different positions. That lasted for a week, today they are back to M1 in their original positions. I've done nothing to them except add 6 text files to the docs group. What would ma

just to follow up, I uninstalled everything Stardock and ran for a few weeks that way. After last W10 update, I reinstalled everything. In between I had a problem, in that the few icons I have on my desktop were divided between my two monitors. After reinstalling, I still had the split, so I dragged them all into new fences. With each new boot, additional icons keep showing up. I keep dragging them into a fence. Other than that, Object Desktop seems to be running quietly. Thanks.

Well, the program ran, I made a bunch of changes, but on the home page the off/on switch will NOT stay on; I slide it, it says on, then a couple of seconds it slides to OFF!

Remember way back when you could set the thickness of the boarder of a window and also its color? Is that still available with something in Obj Mgr? All the dark themes I've tried are very nice, but I can't see the edges clearly sometimes. I'd like a nice thin, bright light border on dark windows. Any ideas? Thanks!

WOW! Yup, that did it! No more black box over the bar! Thank you; I never would have found that tiny little checkbox way down in that corner; I'm sure that's the first time I ever looked there! Big difference to me, as instead of 2 or 3 themes, now I have access to all of them! 2 thumbs up!

I still cannot figure out how to solve the blacked out right side of the menu bar in Firefox. No matter what blind I switch to, reboot to, there is still this black rectangle hiding the entire upper right hand of the window so you cant minimize, adjust or close t he window.

Well I have to say using object desktop mgr is never dull. Things keep morphing; I'm trying different combinations to find a stable one. Firefox interacts strangely at times with any appearance changes; it doen't close but instead acts like a retracted group and has to be closed with File/Exit from the taskbar, which is still visible even after the close icon is clicked; etc., etc. It's not breaking anything, it's just unusual weirdness that is hard to nail down, as some changes bring

I installed Deskscape then Fences, then Object Desktop manager several months later, just recently. I'd created four groups and placed them on my second monitor. I also have a printer utility that loads to the 2nd monitor. Worked fine for a while. For the last several days things keep jumping around from monitor to monitor, sometimes its all moved, sometimes not. I've tried leaving the groups open, open only on mouse-over, 100% transparent, and other settings, everything still jumps around.</
