I just reinstalled Deskscape 11. It works as expected, however small DLs - static images under 12 MB or so - the download bar fills, but never announces any completion, and the screen locks on the incomplete download screen. I can close it, but redisplaying it shows the incomplete DL.

Sorry for late reply. I found a workaround (Quickview). There is also a procedure to modify Windows file explorer, but this was simple. Thank you for the response! it is W11.
Ever since I installed WB11, I've been unable to view text files in Preview Mode. I set it back to Windows default settings, and the viewer instantly worked. Is this a known fault of WB11? Is there a workaround? Unless there is, I'm done with WB11, as I need that preview.

I take back what i said about Origin; EA which controls those games, suddenly cut me off from a year's subscription 3 mo9nths early. They never answered one of my many support requests. The whole line is off my list. I losr Borderlands 3, and 2 dozen other games, and they lost me as a customer forever.
This is what my Object Desktop says: Object Desktop Upgrade (from Standalone) - Expired From standalone? Expired? $20 when the full program is $30 out o the box? How is this calculated? I only used this for a little while in 2018... decide to retry and I have to pay again? What's the logic here? What 'upgrade' and thanks.

Update: After receiving an email from support I was able to make changes to my account details and use the new email. I appreciate the help. I found the procedure to simply update an email very hard to do, just my opinion. However, I also very much appreciate the community 's help achieving that goal. Thank you.

I clearly recall an upgrade to 10 that i received, but i do not remember the circumstances; i remember it as free. Obviously it all went away when I was advised to delete/uninstall everything. Honestly, this has been such a difficult repair that I'm not up for doing anymore at this time. Whatever that 10 cost might be it will never be worth the hours and hours I've spent trying to get my program back. Thanks

NOPE. Doesn't work. I put in the old email and it rejected it. I put in the new and it rejected it. I can't change the password because i can't verify/access the old email. I can't request a change - already tried - because the old email can't verify. Since the error does not specify whether the email OR the PW is wrong, I'm at a loss for what to do. Can't you guys just make this process simpler? I've been days and days trying to simply change an email address. What's left now

Well that won't work, will it! It said it sent an email to both accounts! One is dead! I can't access that account! I don't know what to do.
nothing is working for me. I did all that - how can you get to that page? I couldn't find a link anywhere else! Anyway, I put in my new email,and rebooted and checked and t=nothing has changed; in addition, my old email is still listed as a URL in a red box! But entering the new email did not seem to work at all, as on another page, my email was shown as the old one. Thanks.

Thanks; yes I ran it, but not as admin; ran as admin and on reboot, Deskscapes 8 is still there. - EDIT - no it was only that the icon was still under the stardock listing of programs. So the purge doesn't remove all traces? Anyway, I'll try an install again. Thanks so much for your patience and help.

So I used Ashampoo's Uninstaller 9 to remove deskscapes. I rebooted and reinstalled Deskscapes. It doesn't work at all. I set a wallpaper in windows. i opened deskscape and set monitor 1 to an image and all 3 monitors went blank! No matter what i try nothing happens.
