I wouldn't expect the "deluxe boxed edition" anytime soon. That being said, I've heard rumors that the "Limited Edition" box has started to arrive at people's doors. As a general rule though, I am curious myself. I know that some users have started receiving their boxes in the mail, but I have seen no information about any sort of tracking number. In the chaos of the launch they must have failed to send out tracking numbers or something like

Its a joke kinda. Society is a game stardock was working on back... sometime before Sins of a Solar Empire came out. (I heard about Stardock from society, which lead me to play Galactic Civilizations 2) Its basically abandonware. Somebody says it may eventually come out, but its obviously not a priority for them at the moment. I do believe they allow a game to be transfered to another account. In this case it will no longer be supported

ack, its this post x3! careful with that post button. If it looks like its thinking about it, don't spam it. (though sometimes the forum just hickups so it might not have been something you could prevent) You could keep a copy of your 'prefs.ini' file around. I wouldn't recommend it though. They resent to default to try to reduce problems with updating. If its working solid for you though, perhaps you have no need to worry.

the game protection is very unlikely the issue as this game doesn't really have any. (it does, but you already installed the update which is where it would come into play) I notice you have an ATI card. I wonder if they are still having ATI card issues. Obviously check back to see if a dev posts something. However, in the mean time see if you can't find in the forums somewhere instructions to edit the game settings (

you might be right garyriley. Its been stated a few times that they have no expectations to go to Mac. The main reason I would suspect is because they use .net framework in virtually all of their games which causes troubles moving to Mac. Does Valve and Paradox have mac ports? EA does, but EA is a massive behemoth of a company that can afford the extra development for a port. Stardock by comparison is very VERY small.

Perhaps a little negative, but if that's how you feel... I agree it does not have as much explanation, something galactic civilization also lacked. I agree that I wish this game had more special abilities. (e.g. paying a cost to give a unit 'big shield' special ability, for example. Likely from a shield equiped to the unit. Or giving 'first strike' likely by equipping a lance or spear of some special sort) However I disagree with leaving customization up to moders. Frankly, its the people who don't mod that will likely take the most enjoyment out of customizing their units. (

Are people able to find the avatars well enough? I feel like while spartan was getting gross amounts of karma simply by being the OP, it was more beneficial to the new-comers to have the OP with all the avatars. Shall we keep a rolling list of icons so that they can just 'check the last few pages' to see the avatars?

I agree with wintersong. It would go against a lot of the freedoms Stardock represents if they put that kind of limit on things. Some trolls suck, but that's part of releasing a product to a wide market. I place my disapproval on this locking idea.

HMMMM blue blood! I love it when cousins marry to keep the low lives that live outside the family from touching the family jewels.
