No worries, we always like hearing people say thanks.
Razgon, IM me, I can give you my code.
That is an interesting feature. To what format(s) does it export? (I mean is it only max and maya? With png wrap?)

I really look forward to getting our hands on some of the tools. I know I was trying to replace some of the assets on my own, but it wasn't working out to well because I don't have havok anything in my animation files (may have been other issues, but that's what I encountered most apparently) man, if somebody made an ultima 4 mod in elemental, that would be pretty darn keen.
Hear! Hear! I know I am in the EXTREME minority, but I thought in terms of gameplay, Civ 2 was a VERY sligh upgrade from Civ 1 and then it was all downhill after that. Yeah, they added lots of "oh! Neat!" features, but in many cases these features got in the way of playing the game, they did not add much if anything to the fun factor.
I do not believe you are an extreme minority. I personally skipped Civ 2 (an
I wondered this as well. I've tried to get the answer to this, but they appear to early in the multiplayer to have a definite answer. They have not even had time to approach letting other people host the games in the aspect that they would be able to guess the system requirements yet. (They are using windows server)
not yet. Beta 2 will address multiplayer, so it can be expected we will know more of what their current thoughts are on the subject soon.
good thing I didn't read comments 1st. My survey would have been influenced by Frogboy's post
so if everybody votes "No" does that mean you'll find a letter after "Z"?
for the greatest
lol, plain "Stardock" text on a white sheet, on a nondescript booth in a generic looking location, thanks for sharing [e digicons];)[/e]
I know, its AMAZING! so much better than the PAX booth. With all that color and open space with computers and stuff. Don't miss that!
I am pretty sure Ironclad already promised they would answer the question of "who is chasing the Vasari" before they are done with Sins. There have been not-always-subtle hints that there is a major expansion pack coming out, and they certainly promised to eventually provide more story content
BEHOLD! the glory of the Stardock booth at GDC! Compare to the Penny Arcade Stardock booth, if you can find the pictures. <img src="http://landiscasner.com/images/stuff/ranttime/2010-03-12%2
Frogboy, Care to give any excerpts?
Thats my number 1 reason for not totaly loving Sins of a Solar Empire. Its the one thing it was missing.
oh, just cross your fingers for that.
There has been a lot of discussion about automation. The whole Micro vs. Simplicity type stuff. Keep in mind they need to iron out the mechanics BEFORE they are going to create AI to start properly automating it for players. I would expect so see more automation in Beta 3+ or perhaps even later (like only in the final release).
yeah, I have the old CD version. I love its thick manual. I want a Master of Magic shirt! Where is our picture?
Have we gotten any new trailers? I haven't been keeping up.
Time to update it seems!
"Luckmann, of the 9 bear-paws. And the cookie spoon! It started with a net meme, and some ol' ripped-off tune" (I'm tired. leave me alone)
You know, it may be a good community project to try to establish some sort of guide based on whats available. I mean, I find fan-manuals are often better at explaining some mechanics than official ones. Mainly because fans have the time to put into it. I should push the elemental wiki more.
Master of Magic really did. Though I feel it was a little unbalanced. I however, at the same time like the trait system of the Total War games. Just because there are so many traits. I have fond memories of laughing when it turns out my ruler in medieval total war was gay, and now he doesn't produce offspring.
right, the Krax are humans on the empire side! its reasonable to assume there is somebody on the flip of that coin. (though I guess its easy to say after Frogboy's already confirmed it)
