Hmm, is it weird that my download page still has no serial and just says " Coming Soon"?

Wait, GalCiv 2 Ultimate should be in SDC (obviously if I have purchased it/registered it)? Strange, mine isn't listed under "New Software". Still available on the website, so not a big deal, but just wondering.
I fully approve of any and all uses of parallel programming.
While I too would like to loot gear, one thing people tend to forget/ignore: You know how people tend to hurt their hands and completely maul the plastic boxes around things like game controllers and electronics? Same thing with armor. Believe it or not, smacking someone with a giant hammer tends to dent the Plate Armor of +5 Studliness
Problem with that is that, in my experience at least, early players don't have much in the line of reserves. So the bandit might raid and only get a single gildar or a single material, if he is lucky.
I would open it up and check to make sure you have everything. They forgot to put my Pewter Dragon in there (currently waiting for a response from customer support).
Ironically, I don't want a refund. I just want the pewter dragon they forgot to put in my LE. No response since Friday afternoon.
Actually, judging by that, researching Mastery unlocks all the books. Anyone able to confirm that?
I got home today, and saw a nice shiny box in the mailbox. At first I had no idea what it was, then I realized "Oh yeah, I was supposed to get a boxed version of the ELemental: LE in the mail at some point. So I excitedly unbox it. And as I showcase each item in there, I get to the bottom and realize something: I don't have a pewter dragon miniature. So does anyone know who I can contact to try and get this fixed? I am sure it was a mistake, but i
Check on the last page. The retail copy just has a code on the back cover.
Technically the game is 2.something gigs. So you aren't downloading the WHOLE game :p
The "stages" is actually done for the benefit of the customers. Think about it this way. There is one door out of a room, and thirty people in the room. If everyone tries to leave at the same time, it will be crowded and awkward. If they leave in groups, it will be a lot faster.
With regard to the "Those dirty Germans built Stone Henge first!" achievements: I like them. They give a brief idea about how the other players are doing, and add some nice flavor to the game. That being said, I would prefer they be along the lines of news broadcasts (like MOO2). Feel more like news from afar, rather than a big deity telling me to stop building the Great Wall of Italy :p With regard to the "List of the top five most militaristic players": I don't really
Is there a way for those of us who own all three parts of Sins to convert it to Trinity for the purpose of easy installing and the like? No offense, but Impulse's game download/installation process is rather painful (since it does everything in one step, so I need to avoid playing games while downloading/installing), and one package when I get in the mood is better than three. So is there a way to trade Sins, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy for Trinity for the purpose of ma
Oh. Perfect. In that case, time to go preorder/buy it. Thanks. :p
Probably a dumb question that has already been answered elsewhere, but will Diplomacy and Entrenchment be able to be played at the same time? Entrenchment is a separate executable from core Sins, and Diplomacy likely will be as well. So will the content from one expansion be available in the other? Or is it going to be an either-or thing? I really doubt the latter, but it isn't unprecedented... Thanks.
To eliminate a faction, you need to capture all of their unit producing factories and eliminate all of their units. So you could theoretically lead a strike force, cap their base, and then mop up the survivors to win a map in under five minutes.
Was talking about this very mission at a different message board a few hours ago. Ran through it again for fun Your main goal is to get the southernmost point. Load that base up with launcher turrets, a 4x Repairer, and a few of your preferred ranged units. They will be able to hold that position until the end of time (unless Red flanks you, but they aren't going to). That will keep Green busy. Next, start sneaking your way into the Southeastern portion fo the m
SR2 originally had Starforce. However, the Impulse version has no DRM.
Impulse makes me giggle. SR2: Complete costs 1 cent more than buying the game and expansion separately. SR2: Complete as well as Reboot doesn't actually have the right screenshots. Either that, or Reboot is one hell of a patch :p https://store.stardock.com/images/product_gfx/ss-4_large.jpg Just felt like pointing that out. I am still waiting to either get the itch or give up hope on a disc, but this makes me happy. It shows that, even with a fancy new expansion pack and publishe
Also, if I recall correctly, some games install Starforce whenever you start the game, rather than when the installer completes.
Oh yeah, good point with the expansion thing. I forgot about the no-starforce thing. Install the game, install the expansion, remove the starforce, reboot. Repeat as needed.
I can run the original in Vista. Haven't bought the expansion just yet: First and foremost, go download the latest [link="http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/"]Starforce[/link] drivers. A few tips: Run as administrator Turn off UAC (I did that the day I installed Vista :p) Run in the various compatibility modes Sacrifice a goat
Cinemaware Marquee used to offer a patch that (allegedly) fixed this issue a while back. But they made it a point to never let people really have access to it, so the patch is dead.
Thanks. I just started a new character in NWN2, but I will definitely buy this when I feel the need to restart that character again.
