I doubt you'll get into the beta unfortunately with amazon & newegg.
You wouldn't, but it no longer matters as the beta is closed now, and will remain closed until the game is released. This is what comes with the limited edition: https://forums.elementalgame.com/377402 . There's also a video somewhere on the forums showing the cloth map, and there are excepts from the extended manual around a
Teleportation maybe possible, although probably unlikely. All the most likely theories of doing so have tons of problems. The spead of light being the major one. It's assumed that nothing can travel past the speed of light, however that is false. Scientists just know that past the speed of light, particles start acting in strange ways that can't yet be explained.
Sorry, but what? Do you have some evidence somewhere to back that up? It's worth mentioning that stability and how it runs in the beta is not representative of how the release version will be. The goal is for the cloth-map version of the game to be playable on a netbook.
I don't know if I'm missiong the point you're trying to make or what, but what does that have to do with teleportation? Or are you just saying "It's not possible now, but will be in the future?" Well of course it's not possible now. The point is, we can't comprehend the mechanism of teleportation because it hasn't been discovered yet. At this point in time, we only understand 3 dimensions, but there is definitely a possibility
Quoting kyogre12, reply 13 This type of "teleportation" could *maybe* be used for high speed communication, but using it to "teleport" something more complex--like a human--would be pretty much impossible. Think outside the box: "Since there exists in this four dimensional structure no longer any sections which represent 'now' objectively, the concepts of happening and becoming are indeed not completely suspended, but yet complicated. Das: I like your idea a bit better now that I understand it better, but I still have some problems with it. The most important being that whenever possible, I want the mechanics to mirror the canon as much as possible. Using the Ring doesn't (necissarily) make Sauron stronger. It might gain him a minion, but if anything it makes he weaker. Someone using the Ring could overthrow him and become the "new" Dark Lord. He doesn't want a "strong" character (Gandalf, Denethor, Elrond, Aragorn, e
With that being said, why would we use a UFO? Traveling through the universe in a spacecraft seems unrealistic to me. We've teleported a proton instantaneously a mile away, just think of what we'll be able to do in a few hundred years. It uses an entagled pair of photons or other particles, where if you change the

Yeah, the magic system is going to have to be completely reworked and/or removed entirely. Very few characters have anything that could be called "magic." The wizards, Sauron, the Nazgul, and some of the Elves (the mirror of Galadriel, the Three Rings could maybe be called magic). And even those that had magic, it wasn't anything like throwing fireballs at people or whatnot. It was generally much more subtle. Things like your Horn of Gondor idea don't even have to be spells. I like it better, actually. Maybe it's because I had been using the Sins forums for a while before I started coming to the Elemental ones (the Sins ones are white on black). I wasn't much of a fan of the old color.
