I think they would be making a mistake to do another project at this time. While you have a active interested audience, keep it active. It seems the turn around time for games is about three years, if they are working on a new game now thats a completion date around 2012. After a Sins 2 development, your talking 2015 release date. We will all have arthritis or carpel tunnel by then.
No, I agree with TFLBigBandTheory. It's a good thing they're working on something else.
Well money-wise buying it from Impulse is better for them (regardless of whether you buy just the digital copy or the boxed copy) because they get more of the money. When you buy it through retail or Amazon or whatever, that company gets a share of the $50 (or $70 for the Limited Edition). If you buy from Impulse, Stardock gets 100% of the profits. I don't know about getting more shelf-space, though.
Is there a link to this CNN talk/interview somewhere? I'd like to see it.

Alot of the variables depend on the goal, the mod will look very different if the goal is to recreate the challenges and battles of the books versus using the lore to create random maps that will use LotR factions. Did I miss something or has there been no mention of the One Ring?
You definetly missed something; the f

I'm trying to make some Towers for a netherworld type reality.
Use the Y-axis offset. If you can't raise it far enough, select a different object, then go back to the original one, and the offset sliders will be reset, allowing you to raise it more. Just repeat that until it is tall enough. Just note, however, that if you ra

In theory, you could easily make 4 tiles that connect with each other to form your thing, save it as a stamp, and use the stamp in maps. Then just attach the same XML info for each of the 4 tiles, so no matter which one you step on, they all behave the same.
But do the stamps ever appear on the randomly generated maps? Right now the only stamp included with the ga

"They are vastly different, but I like the old a little better" (along with a 'like the new a little better') would be nice options to have. Hortz! I've missed you so over these last few days. Thank goodness you've returned, I don't know what we'd do without your incredibly useful posts. Oh that's right, we'd help make a decent game that isn't a clone of King's Bounty.
Wait, what? I thought they already changed that. A resource doesn't need to be touching your city in order for you to build on it, it just needs to be in your area of influence. The only "resources" that really requires snaking are beaches so you can build a harbor.
Or is IC planning another kind of game?
They're working on some sort of secret game at the moment. All we know is that it will be an RTS and it won't be in space, which is very vague, I know. If you listen to the podcast in the OP here https://forums.elementalgame.com/386989 there is a little bit about Ironclad's next project and Sins 2, but nothing much. It's mostly about Elemental, but they touch on other stuf
IIRC, they said they're making enough of the Limited Edition for it to be in supply well after release. So you should be good.
Woo! My map of Middle-earth got a plug! Too bad you can't play it yet, because it's still waiting for moderation[e digicons]:P[/e]
No. Eventually things will be migrated over to Python, but initially it won't be present.

Ugh, I just realized there's a bunch of black text in the OP that you can't really see on the new forums. Should be fixed soon.
I'd strongly suggest you try out the Third Age mod for Medieval 2. Not because it is a great mod (which it is), but because of how they handled the same sort of story-line issues we are discussing. I enjoy playing that Mod up to a point then get bored with it, but they have done a good job balancing the realms of Middle Earth. And the settings are before the Fellowship of the Ring so they are dealing with the world rather than trying to squeeze the story into their game-play experience
