And "flatten forum categories" isn't workable really. It makes the Elemental forum so busy that finding the threads I want to read isn't worth the effort.
It's not perfect, no. But at least you can actually see the forum posts. I've been using it for a while, so I've gotten used to it.
I actually can't see any forum other then the dev journals one from the main page for some reason. Every forum link goes to the dev journals. Use the Flatten Forum Catergories option. You'll stop seeing the Elemental stuff and the Sins stuff will be back.

In ME, earning them gave you tangible bonuses (extra shield, damage, whatever). Same could be done here. "Win a Diplomatic Victory with at least 10 AI" could give you a % bonus to your diplomatic capital income. "Earn 500,000 Gildar with caravan trading" could give you a bonus to caravan income. So on, so forth.. The achievements that make you play a little

Basically every single Sins subforum now shows exactly what is in the Elemental Dev Journals, without showing anything Sins related except the stickies.
But it does. Or it does for me anyway. In sperate tabs I've got various Sins sub-forums open, and nothing Elemental. I switched to unflatten, and all the Elemental stuff showed up. In the options in the top right corner of the forums, try changing to "Flatten Forum Catergories" and the Elemental stuff will go away.
That's weird. My guess is that it's just a bug that will get worked out. Also, if you use the "Flatten Forum Catergories" option, you won't see any of the Elemental stuff. I found out because I had that on and didn't see anything odd, but if you turn it off everything changes to Elemental.

Frogboy wanted someone to gather his Mod Week stuff together, so here it is. But I'm taking it a step further, and adding in all the guides and such that have been posted here so far. And of course it will be updated as people post new guides. Developer Stuff Mod Week Begins <a href="https://forums.elementalgame.com/38
Excellent! It might also be helpful to put these posts in the modding section of the forums and sticky them.
Diplomacy adds stuff to Entrenchment. When you're playing Diplo, you still have all the Entrenchment stuff, like Starbases, mines, etc. You're not playing just one at a time, you're playing both.

I agree with most of this. One thing I would really, really like is the ability to click+drag to fill a large area with land or forest or whatever. I'm trying to make Middle Earth on a HUGE map (the dimensions are twice the default large map's) and filling in the land, even with the tool as large as I can make it, took forever. Clicking+dragging to raise mountains seems buggy. I click, drag, and half the time it will raise a new mountain where my cursor was dragged to, instead of wher
