Will that be changed? If not, where can I download version 9?

Extra question: how long generally does stuff stay in moderation?
Yes, thanks @ CarGuy, that link worked for me on IE7. My Wallpaper is in Moderation it said. By the way, you being a CarGuy, may be interested in the Wallpaper... Thanks for your comments @ Mirsguy, I've been using Interceptor One as a nick since my youth, back then it was a CB Radio nick though, due to lack of Internet! However, I've changed it back to the one I've been using since I started here.
Erm, I think my DSL connection with 124 kbs upload should be fast enough that I don't need a cybercafe. I'll keep trying, but not forever...
Is something wrong with the submitting to Galleries function? I have been trying on and off for 24 hours now to make my first submission to the Wallpaper Gallery, including having to change my nick from M-203 to Interceptor to create "My Site", allegedly due to invalid carachters in my M-203 nick. The progress bar runs to the end, and then after about 60 seconds I get this: <img src="http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/4859/image2axe.jpg" alt="screenshot" width="331"

I suspect, that if a way could be found to import the various other Widget/Gadget/Doohickeys, or at least a way to use them, that it would almost instantly bring with it plenty of users, wanting to use the various Widget/Gadget/Doohickeys under a unified interface (DesktopX).

Thanks and Thanks. If you need help testing, holler at me and I can test on Vista Ultimate & XP Home 32-bit, both recent installs.
Well, I figure since today is my 43rd, making me an old dawg that doesn't have the time to learn new tricks, I'd attempt to play the sympathy card and ask (very nicely "pretty please with cream and sugar on top") if someone that, unlike me, CAN program/script/whatever, take a shot at: This Sid
I am trying out my ODU packet and find I rather like DesktopX/DesktopX Widgets. I am also running the Windows Vista Sidebar and Yahoo Widgets, for a couple of functions in particular, and cannot find any Desktop Widgets that do the same thing I wanted. So my question, is there a way for me to use/convert Sidebar Gadgets & Yahoo Widgets, into DesktopX Widgets compatable with Vista? Because I would like to get rid of the Sidebar and Yahoo Widgets.
IMHO.. resolution dependency has held back DX more than anything.
I'd have to totally agree with that, I had a look a long time ago at DesktopX, but the resolution problem held me away from buying.
Well how about a submission rule: " All submitted Themes need to be Resolution Independant to be considered for Moderation ." I am Admin on a website for the Logitech G15 keyboard, and I do Overlays for said Keyboard. Request Thread G15v1 Thread <a href="http://www.g15forums.com/forum/showthre
I just started with DesktopX, but one thing I'd like to see, is a way for DesktopX to use Themes that are marked "for this or that resolution ONLY". One in particular is the LCARS Theme by HG_Eliminator which can be found here . I browsed the entire gallery, and you have no idea how many great-looking Themes I had to discard from consideration because they were only for certain resolutio
Ok thanks, I guess I'll hold the itchy trigger-finger for a couple more days then, and just browse the Dock skin section. And download a few of them in advance to check out when I do get the Plus version.
A follow-up to the ObjectDock Plus question: I have decided to go ahead and purchase ObjectDock Plus, however, I have to wait a few days until the money is transferred to my PayPal account. Can I in the meantime install the free version, and do whatever settings, install a couple of docks, and then when I push the purchase through simply update from the free to the Plus version? Or would I be better off waiting until I get the Plus version before installing?

Lantec, thanks for that. Question, does that mean I have to do an e-mail for each individual program, or can I add info from every program I install at once?
I purchased Object Desktop Ultimate yesterday, and have archived all the software. I wish to install the software on my OFFLINE home computer, but when I was installing on my Laptop, the software asks for the e-mail & serial so it can activate the software. Not a problem on my Laptop which IS connected to Internet. But how can I have it activate the software on my offline computer, which does not posess an internet connection? Will Impulse even work on
Dang, missed that "Next" button...
Ok, thanks for the info guys (and/or gals). There's never a thumbs-up Smiley when you need him...
