Well, I think he is right. It probably works okay for most people. My guesstimate is that 75% of the people I play with have no problems connecting to each other. So that's 1 in 4 pantheon games that won't start 2v2. Now imagine if you have 10 people, what are the odds of actually getting a 5v5 started? None.
