I just want to be able to skip in time. Seeing what items and skills demigods choose is pretty much a given for a replay system to be useful.

[e digicons] Alas, strong, I will miss you.
"Which game?" he asks. On that simple sentence rests all my hope for mankind. I'm not exaggerating.
You're playing AIs, its nothing like that against human players. A game is supposed to last 10-15 minutes if I remember correctly.
If they allow UI mods, you can easily do something like this yourself. Otherwise I doubt it's likely you will see any feature like this.
Great idea to put the AIs in the Elo system!
As much as I appreciate a novel approach, time is ticking. I'm sure everyone are aware. Frustrating, nonetheless.
http://www.edge-online.com/features/valve-are-games-too-expensive#expensivegames Valve (STEAM!) says games are too expensive. Besides being "good news", that they are thinking in those lines and have the figures to back it up - does anyone else find it hilarious that they are trying to profile themselves
It will be awesome when it's done. That's really all that matters to me.

An AI can never be as good as a human player playing by the same rules. Increased difficulty by "cheating" is a cheap way of introducing a difficulty scale without programming different AIs (which means they can focus on one which means the better it gets, the flatter they can make the cheat scale). If you want fair, play versus humans. Playing against computers will never be completely fair, just approaching it. If you are good enough to beat the hardest AI, it would not be fair if y
Oh man, I used to love those dogfights where you were so far away from the stations and everything else that you lost track of how fast you were actually going because your only point of orientation was your enemy. Checked the speed-o-meter and we had passed 200 000 kilometres per minute. It took me a while to get back to playable space. [e digicons]:P[/e]
I think the solutions will attract a very specific kind of customer, and it won't be gamers. I myself frequently work on a remote desktop set up in my home. Togheter with mobile broadband, this could be the start of a new era regarding how computers are seen. Or it could be a minor footnote. I think which way it goes will fall on how well the applications produced for this specific need are made, to fit a target audience with relatively low demands. Ultimately, and I know some will disagree w
What point are you arguing? Why does it negatively affect you if you have a ps3? It doesn't. That whole thing about claiming exclusives is just the customer trying to rationalize his own decision of which console to buy. Frankly, Square has made some of the best games of all time, and if they want to expand I say good for them! More cash flow for future projects. Since this is quite a good deal for MS, hopefully they can do a proper port to xbox360 so square doesn't get bad rep in tha
There is without a doubt more than 700 entries, as my entry is listed amongst those and I posted after 700 were already listed. Either that, or any additional comments push old ones out of the database. Unlikely, but not unthinkable.
Quoting myself:
I will be brief. A fundamental problem with the implementation of DRM is that it is done without the consumers' consent or awareness. No matter what type of DRM is utilized, the consumer must have that information available. Secret rootkits installed by privately owned companies with unlimited access to personal files - this is DRM today. DRM is a necessity in the fight against piracy. But it must not come at the expense o
There was a problem introduced in the last patch (2D) and quite a few have seen a performance drop due to that. They are aware of the problem, hopefully it is fixed in patch 3 which is due the 19th.
Yeah, we've requested this feature / bugfix before. Supposedly it was working in Supcom, which is the engine this game is built on.
The first one always is.
thanks kitkun, i am happy to report that under that impulse question mark dealy is an option to get your registration code (for all your games) emailed to you. and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade does indeed have a registration key that you will be able to enter into soulstorm to unlock the DC armies whether you buy it from retail or from steam! awesome foresight on impulse's part and a big thumbs up from me! jin[
