The whole middle ages RPG is getting a tad bit overdone. I'll agree with this. A Sci-Fi RPG would be a very refreshing change!
A GOOD sci-fi rpg.

Win 7 Superbowl Edition - All the normal features but also loads of annoying commercials that are celebrated and praised for some reason. Cause it's American, don't ya know? Crashes after 4 hours. Win 7 Professional edition - Every time you move an icon on the desktop, Christian Bale appears on your screen for 30 minutes yelling and asking you if you are professional or not. Does not boot unless you wear a suit.

I didn't say they were my standard for bad, I said they were so bad they could run on xbox360. Lots of stuff has been released that could run on older consoles. Dow 2 is merely as bad as other games such as halo 3 or left4dead. It may be fine if you're sitting on a console, but it's really not fine if you're sitting on a computer and wanting to push the boundaries. I think what bothers me by far the most is the sprites they use for way too many things (auras, missiles, bullets).

You're right, it is an opinion. And I also hope you are right that they won't port it. Although with the current game, it wouldn't really be noticeable. But right now, a lot speaks for it. They send mixed messages to the public regarding whether or not it will be ported. They use GFWL. Graphics are so bad they can run on an xbox360 (hello sprites!). Menus are typical console-design.

Some rts games use one stick for camera and another for pointer. Units are easily selectable through the dropdown they stole from SINS (probably 1 button to flip through the units for "speed"). Another button to select HQ. A third button to select upgrades/build orders. A fourth button to make selections. A fifth button to go through special abilities. Then you can access the special orders by holding a button down while pressing go (one button+go =attackmove, another button+go=melee

Starcraft had modding, but it never saw widespread use. Starcraft also had massive" user map settings" potential with its legendary map editor.

I should be able to get as many retail copies as I want.
Hah

Volume licensing is always limited, because you can't buy just one. I would love to see prices before making judgements on whether this is good or bad. Choice is always good for the consumer.

First of all, there has to be some sense of objectivity when discussing this. It goes without saying that the consumers who gain an unfair advantage by using these services would like them to be kept that way (at least that would be the initial response from most). Since this community is based around software and games, I will keep to those and stay away from digital music downloads. I sincerely enjoy the term "international protectionism". I formatted C:\ straight up, all installs and a lot of things I should have backed up but didn't gone. Anyway. The install of windows 7 was flawless. The only thing that didn't work from the start was my 4870x2. Originally I thought windows 7 had completely broken, because I didn't get any start menu or icons or anything. However, it turns out windows 7 has a new system to arrange multiple screens (which is really good by the way!) and it had put my stuff on the wrong screen. Took me
