These are bugs noted in-game in version live at time of posting. Some are not visible to the naked eye at normal game speed. - Rook's Hammer Slam shakes the ground a tenth of a second (or less) before the hammer hits the ground - Queen of Thorn's Ground Spikes occasionally miss small creep in close proximity (not aoe?) - Catapultsaurs missiles slow down noticeably once they come within a certain close range of small demigods (edit: this happens to arrows as well)

Oh yeah, I'd love a good 40k movie. The old warhammer comics were some of the best comics I've ever read. And they've got the 40k mmo in the works. Maybe in 10 or so years, if that mmo is successful, we will see a movie worth watching.
Honestly, most people who joined an open beta at this point would download it, try to play online for 30 minutes and then uninstall. I also strongly disagree that you can't get good feedback from the current testers, just because we bought the game based on a description. Buying a product is not the same as being happy with it. The game is simply not ready for open beta. Netcode needs to be 99.5%, not ~50% chance to connect, 50% chance to get desynced, 50% chance to lag so hard it is
Strat e gy. Edit: I think HBSG fits perfectly.
Well, I've played the dow2 beta quite a bit, in fact I'm up to 16 hours played already according to Steam. Initially I thought it sucked, I really did. Entering buildings looked boring, the graphics weren't even that nice (I am DD - demigod-damaged), few units and almost no buildings to build. However, because it already feels soooo balanced, I still enjoyed it immensely. The tactical aspect in Dow2 is perfectly executed. If I had any grief with the game so far, it is that los
How about instead of barracks per se, they can build tiny portals.
I wish more industries would see similar development.
Right now in beta, each general has 1 type of minion that results from the use of a skill or after investing skill points in an aura. These are unique to each general. In addition, the generals have access to 3 idols that are bought with gold. These summon 3 non-unique minions.
Yup, at the moment there are few rts elements in the game. The minions are largely automated following the demigod around, you can easily select all to attack a demigod if it appears, They are also too weak to survive on their own. Heroes with pets, excellent summary.
Aww, I didn't see that! Put it back in beta [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
You can switch maps after you create a game.
Again with the greek gods!? Is it just me that finds the idea of greek names in this game extremely unattractive?
Maybe™
Yes please. And this isn't just for healers, EVERYONE wants to know what health their teammates have. Especially in 2v2s, if your mate is at 70% or 50% it will make the difference between running and fighting.
I won't quadraple-quote it, but I agree. Generals. Use them.
I think her attacks are random in her closed form.

At this point it's just extra work for them to work on patches. It's so much simpler to just package it all up. They've said they will do patches the normal way in the future.
The guy in the other thread suggested not standing still next to a flag.
Nice tips, some stuff I hadn't even considered. Here's my additional tip: keep clicking movement orders for your demigod. That keeps you focused on the situation and you can get off sidling out of the way of the boulders.
How do the ZPMs even work? Sometimes they can be exhausted, and sometimes they keep up massive functions for milennia. There's something fishy going on there. Wow, I think I had too much sugar in my cereals. [e digicons][/e] Yeah I am excited about this game. Can you tell?
And I was hoping to ban any double-demigod on the same team (make them unique)... they just become so overpowered, no matter what demigod it is. Rook+rook, torch bearer + torch bearer, regulus + regulus... 5v5 will not be fun if the sides are locked like this. It will add an additional layer to balancing each side, as you now have to consider how their power stacks with "themselves" as well. One frost nova might be fine on a team, despite short cooldown and quite a long duration stun. Two mig
Ahoum... does this mean the demigods are locked to one side? Does it mean I can only fight with 4 of the demigods in a tournament? For the tournaments, off the top of my head I'd love to see 1. Top contributors for each side, as well as ladders 2. Fun statistics like total amount of grunts killed, text messages typed, spent money ratio on items/citadel upgrades, average time until victory 3. Rewards for winning tournaments that aren't favor points (hah!) <
I spend the game moving, of course. Knowing rooks casts boulders that kill me, I get out of the way when they roll up. Unless I am actually in melee range, I rarely get hit by one.
