I was playing a custom game as Erebus when I noticed that two of my nightcrawlers were stuck in the citadel. They were selectable and they had the walking animation, but weren't moving anywhere. Later in the same game a minion was stuck out in empty space off the path. Again, it was selectable and animated but not going anywhere. After I died the minions went away as usual. I've only noticed this happening in that

The way I've been checking new posts is looking at the icon to the left of the title. It's different if you've read it before. I really want to be able to view the OP's in chronological order, though. [e digicons]:'([/e]

Hi all; this won't do anything for online favor points or achievements, but if you want to preserve your single player favor and achievements while still playing multiplayer, its possible. I created a new profile in single player, then played some custom games. On my achievements it just had the stuff from the last game, but you can now switch back to your old singleplayer profile and all favor points are preserved. In answer to the original post, something like shield mitigation came up in a sf book I read a long time ago ( I think it was from the star trek universe, maybe ). In it the shields had frequencies, so that if you hit the right frequency you could go right through them. Shield mitigation seems to be the opposite of that, where the shields "tune" into the weapons frequency. "Phase" tech from sins sounds like something where wave physics might apply. If you get the right frequency and phase (ph

What I'd really like is an overhaul of the current stars and planets systems. Being able to jump from each star to every other sort of gets on my nerves, especially since the planets of the system each have their own gravity well and only connect to a couple of other planets in the same system. Not to mention the surreality of having a dozen inhabitable planets in a system.

The thing that most gets under my skin about soase is the planet/stars setup. In most, if not all, of the science fiction that I've read the gravity well that prevents >c speeds is on the edge of the system, not particular to each planet. The way I see it, such a mod would primarily increase the size of the star's gravwell. The really tricky part would be to work out the mechanics of putting planets within the well and then working out the kinks of maneuvring ships between them. (cult
