Sorry, but that is not a solution for me. I can run any other games in windowed mode no problem. Fallen does not take much more resources than the other game, except running the gpu temp abnormally hot. The game has a windowed mode option, so it should work.

When picking up a "quest" what does the Treat level mean?
This happens pretty much 100% of the time when I flip out of the game (Alt Tab) or just move the mouse out of the game for a while. Hope this gets fixed, of if someone has a solution. EDIT: As well as when locking the computer. This is essential for me is fixed. I should be able to lock my computer and log back on and continue gaming.
Awful idea. If they did this they would need to recalculate the whole pacing of the games world. And I agree, it is better with just one que. Most 4x games are like this. This is not an RTS.
There is an easy solution to this problem. Just don't pick them. It's a singelplayer game....let people decide themselves how they want to play.
Still no help?
I keep get a message from Stardock Central that Updates are Available. However, when I open up the program, nothing is displayed. I try refreshing, still nothing. This is getting pretty annoying!
This is by design. They stated that they wished to avoid "City Spam". So instead you are facing a decision if you go to war over an area, or let it go. Personally I love the fact you cannot place cities all over.
Where are u guys getting the update from?
edit: nvm, not worth the "stupid" argument that would follow...
I really think we should all be thankful for the "bomb" of a game that was War of Magic...if it wasn't for that game we would not have the glorious Fallen Enchantress! [e digicons]:star:[/e]
No, I said Shop AND Item management. Regarding the "red/green" stats Gaunathor mentions, this only counts for the 4 general stats on my character portrait not my overall stats. Item often have more stats than just damage. And I am still having huge problems not knowing what item goes where on my character, only to buy something that suddenly replaces another. Fitting slots are really needed, OR when placing the cursor&nbs
Hopefully FE will be a success, and reviews will all mention the "negative" missing of MP. Then we can hope the next game will have MP implemented.
You can just add it to Steam as a "Non-Steam" game. That way you will still have the functionality of Steam and friends list. They will see you are ingame etc. That's what I did, works fine. Besides, FE has no Steam achievements etc, and you will get the update faster than Steams release.
So I can buy it, and just choose not to have any more updates etc after the 1 year. Yet still have it available to download and install at any time? I don't see that happening, since they usually keep the download up to date. Say I format my PC, my 1 year sub is over, and I want to install the product...what then?
I don't understand why this product is a subscription....would buy it if it was a one time price, but every year? Does not seem worth 50$. Guess I will wait for a X-mas sale or something.
One of my main problems with WoM was the interaction with the shop, sadly it is still bad in Fallen Enchantress. I keep buying items my units cannot use; why not "red" out items they cannot use? I can't see if the new weapon is actually better; some color indication of stats would help (sort of what Diablo III does). I can't see if I buy something that results in my unit having to remove something; having item fitting slots on character would hel
Nice work!
Awesome, thanks!
Despite how visually wonderful this game is, I am actually enjoying the game more using the cloth map. Gives me the "old school" feel. Anyways, the Cloth Map is missing some vital visuals. Namely icons, such as treasure etc, does not show unlike the "normal" game. Please fix this!
Again Im not in game, but i think double clicking on an enemy does the same thing.
DOH! That worked! Thanks guys!
One of the tooltips tells us to check out enemy abilities/powers before attacking. Problem is...you can't. Sure you can rest the pointer over a unit, and the "stats" card is displayed in the right hand corner, however you cannot move the pointer over to the "card" to find out just what the units abilities are. So, my suggestion: Let us be able to select enemy units with one click, and remain selected so we can then find out what the unit abilities are by re
Ah, I thought the Stardock download page was for the beta only! Great! Thanks! [e digicons][/e]
Well, any chance for a reduced price if we want to buy it from Steam instead? I bought the game when Stardock owned/ran Impulse, not GameStop. I assume my money when to you guys, not them. Since Stardock games are now available at Steam, I was hoping you would take with you your customers too.
I Pre-Ordered Elemental:War of Magic back in the day, and we were told we would receive Fallen Enchantress for free. Will our Fallen Enchantress key be redeemable on Steam?
