Sadly I do not have a middle button, and the game does not allow us to change key mappings! [e digicons]>:([/e]
It´s sad, that this game with potential, was rushed and send out too early - the result can be seen in that video (which isn´t mine).
It wasn't rushed or sent out too early! Brad has addressed this! They/he truly thought they had a solid and finished version of the game!
My point was having people post their reviews in ONE topic. This section of the forum is supposed to be about the game, not a F'ing review forum! There is a new one every day!
Epic - slow pace Normal - normal pace Fast - fast pace
Wow, really? I thought "epic" was the fastest setting...talk about bad choice of words!
Who are you, and why should we give a hoot about your review? Sorry, but I am getting sick of these player reviews, just as I am sick of the "I didn't pay for beta" whining topics. Can't people just stop making new topics for their reviews, and post them all in one Player Review topic? Like they did in this one?
I would select Diplomacy as my research, but it'd randomly pick which one of the options I'd get when research is done. It'd add a lot more "oh cool" or "Oh shit!" to the game which is sorely lacking.
That's exactly what I was hoping the random research was supposed to be.
Stardock published Sins. Ironclad developed it.
Really? Then why does Sins show up as Stardock Entertainment? And going into Stardock Entertainment in Impulse, you see Sins listed amongst their developed games? Also I recall Brad and other people from Stardock mentioning "as we did in Sins" like they developed it. And they post in the development section of Sins forums...Maybe it was a collaboration game?
I remember in a demonstration video we where told that research results would be random. We would see what me MIGHT get, but the result would be random. I thought this to be VERY interesting, and give an exciting game-play (especially online). No longer would players have a specific "building plan", and we would have to use our wits. But so far everything is set in stone. I research, and then can freely select which one I want. No random result at all. Did the
I hope the next project is Sci-Fi. Fantasy games are way too common.
If you want to play MoM they go buy it at GoG.com Personally I like Elemental better than MoM...yeah that's right, no joke! It's called progress. Where would we be if we just stopped at the invention of the wheel?
How can I get food to a kingdom that does not have any fertile land etc in it's area?
Putting boobs on a breastplate is unnecessary since you can strap them down pretty well, and women certainly would do that before fighting. Adding boobs to armor adds weight and deflects blows towards the sternum. It's a bad idea. Realistic armor for women looks like armor for men. If you want something sexy, well, you're on the Internet. Go find it.
"Realistically"? Take a trip to the museum kid,
They reviewed 1.07.
Any self respecting review would update a game before reviewing it. It's only fair. If authors, artists, actors etc etc all get to fix their work and have people judge the final product, why not games?? Nice to see a reviewer that "gets it".
Where have you heard that "Stardock being in difficult waters"?? That's total BS. Elemental the game is not doing so well, but the company is just fine.
Sorry if this has been asked before; Is there a way to see what bonus I selected for my city when it leveled? It's hard to remember when you start getting several.
I am upset is because Elemental is not getting good reviews thanks to this early release. Sure I am happy to play it, and I KNOW Stardock will fix and get things on track, but it is not something the general consumer will accept spending money on and then having to wait months for it to be in working order. I wanted Elemental to get GREAT reviews, and I wanted it to be a game you see mentioned on many gaming websites and having a huge growing community, espesially because of it's modd
Personally I don't like the fact you have to "research" to get better equipment in the shops. I would like it better if the shops got better stuff as the kingdom leveled. Makes more sense that way, IMO.
There is a Guard button. Have you tried using that?
I must suck, because I am finding the game challenging enough...and I am playing on Beginner...LOL. But then again, I like to turtle my way.
Hmm, maybe I had a city selected? I know it's happened a few times where I went to attempt to hire and couldn't. Then I would select my Sovereign and could.
Also, If you don't have enough money to hire them, then you can't talk to them.
How can I get my group of units (or just one unit) to move more squares on the map? For some reason my Sovereign can move 4 squares on the map, but once in a group only 2. I have bought boots that give more movement, but I can still only move 2 squares. Seems like it only counts for movement in tactical battle, and not the map...is this true?
I don;t know if theres an appropriate forum to ask this in but could a mod explain why my "Why was the game released early" post was deleted? I didn't attack anyone personally or use bad language. Are you deleting posts for content?
This is most likely why: https://forums.elementalgame.com/391553
1. I too am confused over charisma stat. It does say that recruiting will be cheaper, but the value of putting points into charisma on champions/heroes seems like a huge waste. Or is it the charisma stats of all your units added together that is taken into account when recruiting? 2. Is there a way to delete/dismiss unwanted units?
Quick can you name 2 gamers that don't have internet access?
I don't. I send all my forum comments with Federal Express. And a Stardock employee posts them here for me... [e digicons]X|[/e]
I just wish we were allowed to setup our formation before the battle, be it tactical or auto resolve. It's annoying jumping into tactical and 3 units are standing there alone in the middle of the field! Also autoresolve seems to ignore your spells. I can win a fight with just my sovereign spells, and having everyone else protecting him. But hitting auto, and it only uses ONE spell once....sheeesh.
