Yeah, if we were talking about people buying the game via the digital, but we are talking about people that where in the beta.....
I personally think it'll be awesome to finally see the use of digital distributions advantages instead of treating it just like retail.
Eh, that's not what was mentioned. The people from the BETA might get it earlier....not people buying the digital version.

I hope they don't do that. Beta players already have an advantage over others (thinking of online play), and if they are to get the full version earlier would seem a bit much. Ah well, I don't play online anyways, just thinking of them that do.
Wish they had larger pictures, would love to be able to see that first one in fullscreen....not a great preview really. To be honest, if I didn't already know a lot of the game this article wouldn't make me very interested.
Playing Kings Bounty Armored Princess between my Sins sessions. Keeping me pretty busy. But thanks for the suggestion. Exercise? Pffttt, now you are just making up words... [e digicons]^_^[/e]
No one knows how to stop this?
Is there a way to get Diplomacy to stop selecting my Scouts to join my fleet etc? I used to be able to just click on the icon next to the planet and it would select ships, if I clicked again it would cycle between the different types. I like having my scouts OUT of my fleet, doing their thing.
The beta is closed. You no longer get access after buying it. [e digicons]:'([/e] As for GOG, yeah I have been there. Not really many games I want to get. Great for nostalgia, but that's it.
ah ok, thanks
Hopefully there will be an "acheivment" option we can disable. I too don't care much for giving the first people to build something a bonus. I want a nice and even gameplay. Not some crazed race.
Serious? We need to have XML knowledge? This is my first disapointment about Elemental. Why no visual tools or something?
Not since Baldur's Gate II release have I pre-ordered a game, and am just sitting here tripping, VERY excited. So, any of you guys have any suggestions of games, or things to do to help me from going mad??
My opinion is mine and mine alone. If i say something is awesome, this is naturally MY opinion. Don't go off attempting to act like you are the voice of reason and your opinion is the correct one, and sine you says it's not awesome is the last word. The game was pretty much made by ONE man. For an independent game, he did a bang up job. Also he made a genre by mixing several role-playing game styles into one, resulting in something that has not really be done before. <
Don't know if you liked Galactic Civ II, but if you did then Armada 2526 might be something to look into. It's pretty darn good! It's sort of turnbased, but King Arthur - The Role-playing Wargame is AWESOME.
Nice with the spell checker, I understand that Firefox will not spell check on these forums...Opera does however.... [e digicons][/e]
Ahh, that makes sense. Can't believe I didn't realize that! Thanks SelvGovern.
You sure you don't have "hide non-installed applications " on by accident? Go to "My Games", and click the "View" button, make sure "Fade non-installed applications" is selected. Happened to myself once, was all "WTF? Where are my games!?!".... [e digicons][/e]
Hm, still confused. I set a ship to move 10 spaces, let's say it can only move 3. So it moves 3, I hit End Turn. It gets it's 3 moves regained, but does not move. I have to hit End Turn again, only then will it move 3 more. So I had to hit End Turn 2 times to get it to move once. On the other hand, If I select the ship after the first End Turn, I can move it 3 spaces. Only to hit End Turn again to regain 3 more moves. I can keep doing this, hitting End T
Why do I need to hit the End Turn button 2x to get a ship to move, but if I hit it once I can then move the ship manually? Seems like I am missing a turn. I set a scout to fly across the map, but once it uses up it's moves I have to hit End Turn 2x. But instead i can hit it once, then select the ship and move it etc etc. Is there something I am doing wrong?
I think Stardock is trying to improve the development process as a whole; and, are trying to emulate Blizzard in the care and attention to detail by releasing a bug free solid game.
Actually I would think the "horror story" of Ascaron with the release of Sacred 2 has made developers more aware over the importance of weeding out the bugs. They went bankrupt, which was sad, the game is amazing, but they r
I am considering pre-ordering, is it still the case that we get access to the beta if we do so? I'm seriously going mad looking at the calender waiting for release...
I will do that Kryo. However, I was badly hit by that Trojan.Fake5 issue Bit Defender had today. Man what a mess! The result was I now have to reinstall Win7. Maybe the format and reinstall will help my issue. I will contact support if it doesnt. BTW, will Elemental of Magic support 64 bits? I do hope so.
So I bought Diplomacy yesterday, and my first game crashed. I thought it was an isolated incident and rebooted just to be on the safe side. But it's been crashing every time. It takes some time, maybe 30minutes to 1hour. I have never had a problem with Sins or Entrenchment. If this continues I might just have to contact support and ask for a refund. I am running Win7 64bit.
If you selected to have the "Elemental [Pre-Order] (Download + Limited Edition Box)" when you payed then yes. Look in you "My Games" section, it should say there what you bought, or in your email...you should have a "Thank you for your order" email showing what you bought. We can't confirm your assumption. How are we to know what you bought? ;)
As a player of the Baldurs Gate series since release I have to say Dragon Age is a fun adventure, but that's it. The story is very weak, and dull. The cut scenes are way to often and annoying...even to just interact with a shop I have to be greated with a quick one...sheesh! Also the character skills and classes are VERY VERY boring and simular. They give very little diveristy compared to BGII. The best thing Dragon Age has done, was tempted me to reinstall BGII
Ugg, Flash Forward is getting old REAL fast. The latest episode made me kringe over it's unoriginality. Haven't seen Fringe. Might give that a try.
