Hang on, I'm an Aussie so Spring is opposite to me than it is in the US, does this mean it's NOT being released in Feb 09? I'm also here every day and didn't know otherwise. Isn't Spring March-May?

Welcome Pelorn, - Yeah there are some crazy problems with the forums, my first post was put into the "Journals" forum, effectively putting my post on the front page of the Demigod site as well as over on http://www.demigodthegame.com/journals.asp . I could have said anything I liked and people would have thought it was official, but I digress. - Demigod is very similar to DotA in concept, there are (currently) a lot of di
From what I can gather you are saying he doesn't move ONLY when there are enemy units in range? If so, I am under the impression that this is how "aggressive move" should work, the Demigod will continue to attack his way through any unit in his path towards his destination. By default you can also command an aggressive move by pressing "A" before clicking, this way you can choose when and where you want the aggressive move to occur.
I had a quick look around but didn't see this mentioned anywhere. I'm not even sure if I think this is a good idea but just wanted to throw it out there, was a shared skill tree contemplated? I.E. one that every Demigod has access to. I noticed Enhanced Attributes is the same for each Demigod, if it stayed that way it could be migrated over to the new tree and would make room for another Demigod specific skill line. Some other stuff could be added to the shared skill tree like weak au
Welcome to the forums Wagnard, Please excuse some of our members, they seem to forget what it's like being new to a community. (They also seem to have forgotten how sucky the search feature is around here)
Looks good, great work btw. I agree with some of the other players, that this mod currently won't get much community support but the modding experience you're already getting with the Demigod engine will be invaluable when the final release comes out. I will however be keeping an eye on your work :) hopefully phase 2 lasts a bit longer and the next version of War1 will get a bit more coverage. Something of note, the console command "IN_BindKey "tab" ui_lua import("/lua
I wish this was a Rick-roll instead.
EDIT FAIL. No way to scroll with the keyboard as of yet. You could try editing the C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\lua\keymap\DefaultKeyMap.lua file to scroll with keys or try a 3rd part program that lets you emulate the scroll wheel with key strokes?

I've added a few new items from this past week, the new stuff from Gamereplays.org is great, I highly suggest to check them out if you haven't already.
A link to some stuff to help you with learning the game: http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4 As for when the next BETA phase comes about, this was posted back on the 10th :
We're hoping to release beta 1-A in a week or two that will include things like more strategic elements to the maps, potentially a new Demigod to play with,
Posted on the 10th: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/324115
We're hoping to release beta 1-A in a week or two that will include things like more strategic elements to the maps, potentially a new Demigod to play with, and a number of new gameplay changes. I think people will be surprised at how quickly these betas will improve the game play and "fun" factor of the game. Stay tuned.
I doubt the achievements will be kept for the final release (well at least not this beta anyway) seeing as they arn't being stored on Impulse. Here is one of the lists of Achievements that have been posted http://forums.demigodthegame.com/323908
This was a great post! I need to read the Demigod Ideas forum a lot more. I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it but the receipe scrolls in DOTA suck, the only reason they were done that way is because it was a MOD of another game and that was the easiest way to upgrade items without needing to mess with the game's code or write a new upgrading interface. The way Demigod handles items and their upgrade paths could far surpass DOTA in terms of intergration.
14 New graphs added since I originally posted. The tool is confirmed to work in the latest versions of IE7, Firefox and Opera. It requires Flash to show the graphs.
Hehe neat but i'm pretty sure this is coming in the next patch
Yeah I was laughed when I seen the Journal post by Frogboy. I've been working on a new tool as a side project that displays Demigod game statistics parsed from a .csv file stored in the \Demigod\Bin\ folder on your local computer. I wasn't planning on linking it on the forums because it's only about half complete and a lot of the graphs arn't even made, but I have a feeling that the statistics might stop being stored locally and moved over to impulse at some point in the future. Anyway, if you want to check it out you can do so with
2 new items and 3 I had missed. Feel free to let me know about any other news items you find :)
I've made a heap of updates the last few days to the Class, Commands and Game Guide sections. You can still use the above links to see them.
I doubt it's the movies specificaly but you could try running the game with the command /nomovie to disable all the pre-rendered movies. Other than that I can't tell what video card you have from reading that print out you have (sorry if it's there I'm fairly tired :( ) Can you post what card and what revision of the drivers you have? Doy ou have all the latest Windows updates and hardware drivers installed? Sound, Motherboard, ETC Also w

I haven't noticed anyone else post this so I may as well. That's it for damage types. Nice work! Sadly I'd spent time doing the same thing , I didn't get any info on the Strongholds though. Heres some stuff I got that you can add to yours. (I was going to remove the stuff you have already listed but it was too much effort :P ) Troops Soldier: Basic melee unit. Armed with a hammer, the soldi
