Thanks for your prompt assistance, I fixed the problem with the game myself. I had to delete my game.prefs file and that was it.

No ideas at all?
Since last night I have tried: Turning on (ICMP) Ping in my modem. Connecting via Eth instead of WiFI. Having no internet connection at all (Single Player Skirmish). Updating my display drivers. I have come to the conclusion that something in the game's code is definately the problem. Is there any other incompatabilty that Stardock/GPG know of that could be the problem?
OK, so let me explain my current situation: 1: Installed Impulse and logged in with my account. 2: Downloaded Demigod via http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com/ 3: Installed Demigod. 4: Patched Demigod. I could play the game fine as long as I went to a Singleplayer Tournament game. Trying to play either "Single Player -> Skirmish", "Mutliplayer -> LAN Game", "Mutliplayer -> Internet -> Custom Gam
OK, all the guides for the Demigods are up to date. Seems there is a lot of unmentioned stuff on the tooltips, like the bonus Armor aura from the Oak's higher level Raise Dead Wards or the immunities to certain stuns that are applied so that two of the same class can't stunlock the enemy, etc.
You can add a link to my site if you like, it's currently got a ton of info there http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4

I tried full screen and lots of intermidiates. The artifacts row is just to close to the bottom of the browser's botton scroll bar. I've updated a bunch more stuff today, full details added to the first post.
All fixed and back up and running. All the Items from the game should be available now and the Game Guide in the forums has had a huge overhaul.

I've started making the Demigod Guides again for the newly released version. All the Demigods have all their details brought up to date! Guides in the forum: http://www.scarylogic.com/viewforum.php?f=4 Item database: http://www.
Thank you. I also noticed that the last time I was trying to get the game that a patch was added to it over night. If the game is patched again whilst I am downloading these chunks will I still have access the the chunks I haven't downloaded yet or am I going to have to start all over again?
So I'm on my 3rd attempt at downloading Demigod. It seems that if you close Impulse (even if you pause the download first) the game has to start the download again from the begining. I don't have the luxury of downloading the 2GB in one sitting. Is this normal? I would prefer to play the game instead of asking for a refund.
so you posted this in Demigod Journals, yah?
Just pointing out another user access flaw that still isn't patched yet :)
If you liked Buffy, you would like Angel. If you liked LOST, you would like Fringe. The best Sci-Fi series hands down was Firefly, they old made one season though; It's also another Joss Whedon show so it may very well be up your alley. Apart from that there was a British show called Life on Mars, it went for 2 seasons but was a very interesting mix of Sci-Fi and a Police Drama. Heroes is also a family friendly show and is probably the best Sci-Fi show on TV if not one of the b

I just came here to post about the same thing. LOL looks awesome as well, I wonder how mod friendly it will be? I've been worrying about how much support GPG will be giving the modding community in the way of tools as a lack of support may cut the life expectancy of the game short.
His life drain grip is OP He's also real buggy - but he looks great and has lots of flavor like the other demigods (sans Regulus, who is a really boring concept)
I thought Regulus was great in concept, his implementation was a little lacking though. From what I've seen in the lua files, Regulas might be a bit more viable without having to resort to increasing only stats and attack speed and relying on auto attack.
I've brought all the Class guides up to date with the new Beta released today. You can find them here . I am yet to start on the item, controls and game overview guides.
can I order some maple syrup to go with my bacon eggs and pancakes?

I have to agree with DarkStarman , Notepad++ is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone. Something kind of off topic, has anyone see the way the source viewer from Google's Chrome works? It's pretty nice.
