I see something similar all the time with cities I capture from minor civs. Never seen it in one of my cities or one I capture from a major.

So my King take on Lord Relias. Hit him with a spell that looks like it dinged him for 15 points. Hit him with another spell that looks like it hit for another 15. Clicked him to check his stats and it said he had 1 of 15 hit points. Spelled him again for another 15 and he still didn't die (I had action points for 3 spells in my first turn). Next turn he ran toward a cloud bank and the turn after that he fled. Maybe it wasn't in hostile territory to him,
The text says it increases gildars and prestige, but it has two of the little cup icons, so it looks like it increases prestige twice instead. Anybody measured what happens when you build it yet ??
Yes, and after the implement "duel" weapons, maybe even "dual" ones :)
Started normally, but didn't like my starting position. Hit esc and selected "new game" (without exiting all the way out like I usually do). Picked all the same factions. It hung building the new world, burning 50% of my dual-core cpu until I blew it away. debug.err http://pastebin.ca/1904165 no crash zip file, of course
I can transfer between Sovie & NPCs in the same stack, by dragging to the icons at the bottom or upper left, but it is really tricky about mouse-positioning or something, and it usually takes me 2 or 3 tries. There really is room for improvement there.
As I write this, Impulse says I can download v0.91[b].080 and Stardock (Cari) says "We're working on another update with a fix for a road crash (hopefully will fix all the road crashes) and the bug where you can't build improvements after loading a save game" before I download, which version is it which ? edit: forget it, I see it just started offering .92[b].081
Let us gloat over the body count.
Buy the "Master Light Plate Full Set" and it doesn't have an image in the little items screen. (Also doesn't have a helmet, so its not really the FULL, full set). But it equips ok anyway.
But when I load the save and try to do the exact same thing, it works. Probably one of the many things that seem to go flaky after you play a while.

I researched mining, selected the city that had iron ore next to it, selected "mine" & clicked "build" (meaning, did not click on the ore). Boom, CTD. The action-point system reminds me of all the complaints before that combat movement & weapon speed should be separate. I can think of lots of alternative. Probably too late, but... A: It might be a lot more acceptable to the masses if they added a weapon-speed system -- traits like double-strike, triple strike, etc, for some units. Then a unit with a quick-strike weapon like a dagger, or perhaps swords in both hands, gets double-strike and has two chan
Running slow can be a sign of memory leaks, especially if you hear lots of disk activity. Program bugs cause it to misplace memory, so it uses disk instead, slooooowly. I think it is pretty normal for Elemental to leave your computer slow for a while after it exits. Only about a minute with me, but my comp is a bit faster and has 3x more memory. Not sure if that is also because of a memory leak or something else, but I have seen the same with other games that were kn
I've had had least two, too.
Have actually had several of these -- at least 4. no crash zip file application event viewer says "Faulting application elemental.exe, version 0.9.0.0, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.4053, fault address 0x00008aa0." debug.err at http://pastebin.ca/1902632
I had my spouse kill the rats. When she tried to return to bodies for the reward it just said that location had been visited.... Had to had the rats to my king to have him hand them it to get the gildars.
Happened to me once too -- I think it was after I selected the game to load. Anyway the menu disappeared and the background just kept cycling. Blew it away to try again and it worked.
