Is there extra gold generated at level 20? I had a lot of gold, but I figured that was from killing people, they are worth about 1500 apiece or more, and I only went back to base to buy gear about 4 times the entire match... my strategy revolves around staying in the field as long as possible, which is why I was so far ahead. Also, I don't think we should get more than 20 skill points, I'm not debating that. I think leveling should continue above 20, just without additiona

Hegion: I've only ever played TB. I haven't played any other character. htiger: The 5v5 I describe was a panthenon game. You can're reasonably expect to bark orders at random ppl on the internet and them to follow. rain 9441: Actually, I bought 3 levels of fortification upgrades AND catapultisauri + giants for my team. The other team got giants at teh exact same time, so it was a moot point.

Demigod is fun, and more than any other character I play TB because he rocks. Ice mode is far superior to fire mode, though, and I've started playing games where I never switch to fire mode, except to get the mana regen boost and the damage boost from switching back. Deep freeze bugs some times and I don't understand why. Occasionally in the heat of battle, I'll press 3 (for deep freeze) and target a bad guy. But the Deep Freeze doesn't tak

okay, I just want to bump this. I also have cox and I just called cox's customer service. I ahve been informed that irc.stardock.com is blacklisted due to abuse. The rep couldn't tell me the reason (an entire different department handles that) but they said stardock should sent a letter of concern about having been blacklisted to [email protected]. I've been dealing with this issue of not being able to connect for months in the Demigod beta and it ha

In your article here, why do you mention RPG players as being more cerebral? Pennyarcade said the same thing and, tbh, that's a lod of bullshit. RTS players are cerebral, RPG players are lazy. I managed to drag my wife away from WOW for a few hours to play fallout 3 and she's absolutely bloody terrible at it. She's so used to 1-click combat and never thinking her combat through (rather relying on superior levels and insane healing ability) that

Oh, and another thing, movies don't have controllers, use irritating camera shifts (every 7 seconds, at a bare minimum, usually more often), and also come in live action. So here's the deal: You make me a videogame I can play on my TV, without a controller, that looks the same as if it were happening IRL, and include those god-aweful camera shifts, and if it doesn't flop in the market, I'll conceed the point.

I'm just throwing this out there, but you ever think Forrest Gump never had an armor counter or health bar because his remaining health was (just like IRL) not tangible, or the number of bullets he had left was not pertinent to the people watching? In videogames, having both ammo and health counters make perfect sense: You need this information readily available so that you can quickly make decisions based upon it. Essentially, any similarities between movies and videogames
