Totally off-topic (really!) but Old Crab - you know Futurama's on Cartoon Network at 11pm EST now, right?
kthxbye
/me looks at his CD collection... Huh. Mine describes me fairly well... for better or worse. ^_~ Speaking of which - it's late. Going to bed. Put some Murphys on, relax, pass out. Seems as good a thread as any to say that. ^_^
Depressing you? Ack! I'm just trying to point out that you'd probably be happy if you did that instead of just tossing the picture aside. Sorry. :/
Nah. Refining a project to make it something you like more (you already /did/ say that the blobs looked out of place,) doesn't make it second rate. If anything, it makes it more complete (and sometimes complete means taking things out.) ^_^
Assemblage 23 - "Drive" (Good to see you too, Iben! for what little more I'm awake anyway! Falling asleep here and getting -nothing- done.)
Well then don't fix it. Revise it! ^_~
Assemblage 23 - "Opened"
Well - if -you- think they look out of place - why not remove them? Even if it doesn't get accepted in that form, there's the chance that you'll at least be happier with it! ^_^
Icon of Coil - "Access and Amplify" (I've really got to bring some more CDs down from downstairs... I've listened to the ones I put on the notebook too many times lately ^_^)
Augh! My innocent eyes. What has become of this innocent thread? *coughs* Ahem. I'm tired. ^_^
*sighs* One day I will trick you all into idolizing -me-! er... I mean... I didn't post that 'aloud'! ^_~
Decoded Feedback (Surprise!) "The Fruits of Wisdom"
*grins* I can actually understand where you're coming from, Jenny - but.. it's Zappa. Not an artist you could lyrically take all that seriously. ^_^
Decoded Feedback - "Bondage" I am /totally/ starting to love 'Shockwave' - the CD it's on.
DSL, cable. It helps with both. Though... gah - those are even worse if you're on cable. O.o
It got it wrong quite often. Still, cute!
And if you haven't power-cycled your DSL modem - sometimes that helps a bit too.
And most of the time still faster than DSL. Well, except with our upstream. With our cable we get shafted on that. Great downstream, but only a 128k upstream. O.o
The joys of cable... we have a 3.5Mb connection, and my speeds on the testers always ranges anywhere from 0.6 to 2.9.
BBX Be? Nah, I'd much rather have BBX Platinum. ^_^
From the way it was explained - it isn't WB handling the painting of the bar - at least not during a skin change. Something about Windows always switching back to Classic before it changes a skin, or something like that. Bah - if I'd bothered to set a newsreader back up, I'd look to see if one of the mssages still exists. ^_^
367.. and a half.
Locking the taskbar works fine for logging-off - but it will do absolutely /nothing/ where changing skins is concerned. It's simply the nature of the beast that is XP. (There was actually an explanation of exactly why this happens awhile back on the newsgroups - but I certainly don't remember it! ^_^)
If I remember correctly - antialiasing is a toggleable option in KDE - just where is the option? Don't remember offhand, in Windows ATM. ^_^ Windows or at least Object Dock (or something!) needs to support SVG icons. *sighs*
Ick. Don't like Gnome. (And that's all I have to say about it. It's the whole 'personal preferences' thing again.)
