Right now the worm is my friend - I'm able to get to DA just fine, and for the first time ever, it isn't as slow as molassas for me. (The first page loaded in under 2 minutes! Woo!)
kthxbye
That's a lot better ! ^_^ (Wow, scrolling up - I'm glad I'm using headphones tonight or my neighbours would be killing me! Ah well, I'm off to bed now anyway!)
*sighs* right when I think you just might be okay Sid, you pull out ICP on me. ^_^ (I'm kidding, yeah.) Oh yeah, and Machine Head - Davidian
Heh - well, I'm sure I have those moments of remembrance in the mornings first thing after waking up... ... unfortunately, at the same time there's only three things on my mind: Why am I awake? Where's my coffee? And, well, the other thing that often comes with waking up.
The only times I ever seem to remember my dreams are when they wake me up in the middle of the night. O.o
White Zombie - Black Sunshine
Oh - you can see a purple corona around it at normal zoom though - that's nifty enough! the black spot probably comes from the light overloading the cmos itself though - it's only capable of registering certain levels of brightness after all. Maybe. ^_^
Woo - a 1 second diference - that takes skill! ^_^ Hope you've taken other pictures to make sure that nice lil' black spot hasn't permanently made itself part of your CCD!
Enh, NT/2K, BSD (and consequently I suppose I could BS my way through Linux and other flavors,) Exchange, light J2E, even lighter VB - unfortunately no Cisco - but I've had to work on Sun hardware before. ^.^ I've always avoided SQL and Oracle and stuff like the plague. Wish I could get that bloody clearance though - the most frequently hiring people out here are always CSC, Raytheon, Northrup-Grumman, etc. Though - hopefully - I'll be able to get out of the computer field so
*chuckles* Yup - it was an experiment. Merely put a ! at the beginning of the folder name, and I was never haunted by that vile program again. Of course, I snagged that little tool given above to uninstall it completely - and now I'm happier. =D
So interesting it won't let us see it!
I knew it, I knew it! It's even more effective than me finding a near clone for every theme I half-create in Hoverdesk!
*laughs* I started out a decade ago, IPlural. Certifications? Yeah, I've got a handful of those, blah. The biggest demand out here, unfortunately, is for security clearances - especially the SCI level - which I don't have, and can't get, unfortunately. But you're right - independance is great, but the price of it sucks! ^_^ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
I'm blaming Ph00ey as one of my primary reasons for getting nothing done tonight! ^_~
Mighty Mighty Bosstones - the Impression that I Get (and a nice glass of Guiness - so, aside from being unable to transfer my thoughts from paper to Photoshop - all is good! ^_^)
Sending out dozens of resumes and making nearly as many phone calls, for the most part! =D
Alas! If I could only think of some PG, or even PG-13 ones!
I have been, I have been! ^_^ I just haven't had any jokes I could think of fully-enough to share! I'm terrible at remembering the things. Now if my step-father was around... no, wait - most of his aren't fit for repeating here!
Unfortunately, my working from home isn't paying very well at the moment! ^_~
I always thought (and yes, I admit to being guilty of it myself!) that part of it could be that it's far easier to /not/ ignore the troll online than it is to ignore him/her/it too.
Sorry nobody's offered anything yet - my knowledge of DesktopX is next to nonexistant, so I can't offer anything up. From hearing what you want, however, I /do/ think that you're going to need DXScript or something along those lines for it... but then, I'm far from the best one to ask. ^_^
I'm beginning to wonder if you're the only one of us with any jokes, Ph00ey!
Kosati: "I try to practice the teachings of Anti-troll 101 ........... I sometimes type out what I would like to say, and hit the Return to Message Board.... " *sighs* I can't count the number of times I've done that same thing. Typed out long winded messages of what I really /want/ to say - but then I remember certain things, and just move on. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" borde
Uhm - it sees to me that staying at home is what causes people to come here - unless I'm the only person who has a computer at home. I just don't think you understand the sheer amount of bandwidth this site & stardock use up in a day. If it's so terribly horrible to you though, do something instead of just complaining. Start your own site & community. Otherwise, you're here for free - you get what you pay for, it's a -service- not a right and all that. <A HREF="https
" I have cable internet but it doesn't mean anything" Primerica - it doesn't matter what amount of bandwidth you have or don't have. When a server's being hit heavily, and a lot of /its/ bandwidth is being used, the amount of your own bandwidth becomes a moot point. The Alpha for WB4 -was- just released, as its been mentioned, so is it really /any/ wonder that the server is seeing a pretty heavy useage? <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&NewsID=91
