Well, personally I have a tendency to download everything that comes across my component manager - even if I'm not planning on using it. Why? Erm, I really don't have a clue - I just do. ^_^ It shouldn't hurt anything keeping the other stuff installed - but it never hurts to get a 'fresh start'. I know I've been planning on doing that myself - but that's because I want to clean stuff up! <img src="http:

Above anything else? I'd say Windowblinds. Windowblinds to me, at least, is -the- OD component. After that, I would probably say IconPackager - most of the people who put out icon packages either put out non-WinXP versions, or make sure they work with pre-XP versions of Windows. Outside of those - it really depends on what you're wanting to try to achieve, probably! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

Watermarks is always what they've reminded me of - because they've always been next to invisible on my notebook. ^_^ Yeah, I wasn't expecting perfection - as you said, it's an alpha release after all. Too be honest, it's a /much/ smoother alpha than I was expecting! Many companies would call this a 'beta' so far. I just wish they'd given us a list of known issues. ^_~ <img src="http://images.stardock.

Hrm - I'm guessing you mean the little watermark like images that used to display in the bottom right of the explorer pane in the special folders? No. I'm not. I just noticed. I /am/ getting an icon in the bottom right of the Tasks pane however ("Picture Tasks" for My Pictures, "Music Tasks" for My Music, etc.) The skins are skinning the right side of the control panel for me - but /only/ when it's it Category View (which I never use.) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

I think we're both confused now! ^_^ But I was confused by your original post (read: I didn't read it closely enough and so my mind filled in the blanks on the parts of it I didn't notice!) and because of that, I confused you! YAY! I blame this new WB alpha. ^_~

*laughs!* OH! XP shell /backgrounds/?? Oy - need to learn to read better (he says as he scrolls back up.) Ahem - I read that as shell (console,) window skinning... egads - just ignore me, I'm obviously more braindead tonight than I thought I was! O.o

But then, at the same time, Fuzzy- most RAID controllers (such as the Promise controller on my Soyo,) will allow you to use the RAID channels as seperate and distinct IDE channels, instead of using them to set up a RAID array. Personally, I can't see why anybody would need an IDE /5/ - but I agree with Fuzzy - it's a hard to diagnose/support thing online like this. ^_^ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/imag

feline - this is a cat thing. i simply assume any worthwhile human will of course melt and become putty in my paws once i settle down on their lap and go into cute mode It's that 'cute mode' that does it! Argh! Well, the purring helps too, but you know - typing is hard when you're putty! </A

Since we're throwing up definitions... *coughs* Freedom, n.: Exemption from the stress of authority in a beggarly half dozen of restraint's infinite multitude of methods. A political condition that every nation supposes itself to enjoy in virtual monopoly. Liberty. The distinction between freedom and liberty is not accurately known; naturalists have never been able to find a living specimen of either. <i

No, no, that was just me screaming in frustration. My list of people to watch grows daily! Over there I'm the same thing I am most everywhere, Wincustomize is the oddball for nicks for me (it's an inside joke thing with this one.) Actually, I'm xRKx there.
