Apologies for the late reply, but I feel it is necessary to add that whilst it is an AMD Athlon 64 processor, it is not dual core.

Hmm, it seems you can stop it by scrolling in the same direction that it continues to scroll in. I hope that helps someone.

Right, this is REALLY starting to bother me, so I'm posting in the only section that looks appropriate. I'm not sure what causes it, but sometimes my screen starts to pan to one side, usually the left, and it just WILL NOT STOP! I can't stop it moving to the left without quiting and restarting the game. Is this a feature? Is there something I'm missing? :(
