Haha, reminds me when I played Morrowind. I got my mercantile skill so high, that I can buy something from someone, and sell it back to him for a higher price. The merchant didn't even blink.
I also read from someone that diplomacy has made the game a breeze for him. I hope it can be tweaked to be on par with other methods of winning.
Have you beaten the game with the highest difficulty? General difficulty + the most advanced computer AI, etc.

Hi all, I've bought DL, and both the DA and TA expansions. I was reading through the manual and I'm very confused by bonuses. I've read somewhere that bonuses from your racial are real bonuses, as in if you have 10% racial bonus to research, your research will increase by 10%. But research bonuses from buildings and starbases only increase your maximum research potential. Meaning you still have to pay for those bonuses; they just merely increased the research capacity.
