That's pretty cool. I was listening to 96.3FM this morning (6:30AM) on the way in to work, and they had mentioned Political Machine during their "in-the-news" segment. That was pretty cool to hear them talk about Stardock and the game. It made me smile. I was like, "Hey, that's where I work."<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:

A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him. As he sits, the waitress comes over and asks for their orders. The man says, "I'll have a hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours?" "I'll have the same," says the ostrich. A short time later the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $6.
aegix, I'm just getting into Enterprise Manager and it's been an interesting journey. Do you know extensively TSQL formula? I'm trying to find a way to setup filters for data coming into the DB to automatically filter out SQL Injections and the like. Stuff like the single quote and other statements such as the AS, INNER statements and so on. What is your take on this? Is this possible? What would be the best angle to approach this topic?<?xm

The book I read must have been missing all of the good chapters. I can remember disliking this book in high school. Of course, I'm not an expert on book rating. I'm sure it was an excellent book to read. Maybe it was the whole, "rabbit" theme that did it in for me -- could have been the teacher (who I hated), for making the class drag on.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-micros
A three year old boy in his bath examined his testicles and asked, "Mommy, are these my brains?" Mom said, "Not yet, honey.
A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done. The monsignor replied, " When I am worried about getting nervous. On the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip." So next Sunday he took the monsignor's advice. <B
I'm looking in to this as we speak. I'm curious when these problems started happening because updates to the sites login system haven't been changes in a couple weeks. Puzzling, I wonder if a recent update to the site over-wrote some of my work. I'm looking at some older files to compare and see if this occurred. <

..sorry. I got that in an email from someone...
A father watched his daughter playing in the garden. He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and innocent his little girl was. Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground. He went over to her and noticed she was looking at two spiders mating. "Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?" she asked. "They're mating
Ever wonder... 1. Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?" 2. Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there... I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta it's butt." 3. Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a
If you're like most people, common everyday items look inert to you. But what you may not know is that many have a gender. For example: Freezer bags - Male, because they hold everything in but you can see right through them. Photocopier - Female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm up. It's an effective reproduc
Hello, I read your wifes recent article and found myself searching for Mr. Right's new blog. Excellent job! Keep up the good work you two!
History's Worst Typo A new young monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to help the other monks in copying the old canons and laws of the church by hand. He notices, however, that all of the monks are copying from copies, not from the original manuscript. So, the new monk goes to the head abbot to question this, pointing out that if someone made even a small error in the first copy, it would never be picked up. In fact, that error would be continu
You know, that's one really great thing about blogging... You don't always see eye-to-eye with everyone's comments at first, but now that I've heard your comments, I have to really think. Wow, you know you're right about it. hummmmm.. I'm not sure I think GM's after my safety. Good points guys. And you're right, I like knowing that when I "keep the car running", parked out side of the bank, I can be sure that when I jump in it with a sack of cash, it'll still be running. ;)
Well, I don't see this as wrong at all. Since the speed limit is a state law. Breaking it is would be a crime. Hey, we all drive safely anyway, right? Speeders cost everyone more money. Wouldn't you think the roads would be safer if we didn't have people who speed? This is just one less thing to worry about. I'm sure that GM is protecting more then themselves, although that may be their primary concern, the general populace is safer by enfor
