Hey Jepel, Thanks for the information. I'll look in to that ASAP. Dark-Star

Sweet! We found out what it was... 3rd-Party Cookies! By default, iExplorer blocks these... so it looks like we will be looking for alternative ways to do this. At least we know what the problem is now. :)
Thanks for the tips.. I'll keep that in mind. I think as far as today I'm just going to simplify my current project and get it to work "bare bones" and then progress from there. I'm pretty confident I'll find the bug since I was able to get it working in a new project. :) Thanks guys for the posts!
Okay, this week has been a difficult one on front and good on another. First off, I did some rather minor updates to JoeUser. One reason: Troubleshooting a odd problem with Cookies and Session variables. So my question to any and all people would be, when redirecting from one page to an
I wiggled the mouse and the server blue screened.
I believe you are referring to "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight." -2 Tim. 3:16. This article is interesting. It is true, the Bible is indeed God's word. However, Jesus warned his disciples that there would be "false profits among us" spreading half truths and twisting the "Law" or God's word the Bible. Revelat
Well, today was productive despite the lack of a test server. Updated Latest JoeUser Articles to now reflect 10 results
Nice idea. I like that idea too. Sheesh! Awesome stuff here guys! I'll pass that idea on up the chain. Good job!
Interesting... That popped in to my head as well. We'd have to figure out some way to do this with out making EVERY users browsing experience taxing on our servers. Each page is quite massive when it comes to queries. ;) I'll pass that idea on.
I think we forget where MOST of out governments money goes in to defense. (sure good that's doing us) How about less funding for our war-like government. Seriously now, can you say over kill? Why do we HAVE to be the worlds baby-sitters? Can't we all just get along?
I sense that Sir Peter values the number 1982... Could this be a special date of his? Or perhaps the year 1956 holds special to him. Who knows? These are questions only Sir Peter can answer.
Wow, sounds really good. I'll pass this info on PoetPhilosopher. Thank you again for the input. Sounds good to me. It would be exciting to see these feature added to the site.
I agree with you JeremyG. When it comes to having your article listed on the right bar when it's first posted seems to be an articles only chance of survival. Once it's off the lists, the points stop coming and the article is dead. What would be nice actually would be to at least extend the recent articles to at least 10. For me, if I had the option too set this in my preferences, I would only show a few items on the right bar. I don't need to know what were the latest domains created o
"Group Blogs" or "Blog Groups"? We still have Blog Groups we just don't show top blog groups on the link bar because they don't seem to be as popular as we would have liked and the top spots seem to never move. Thinks will be changing for items like that though. We were going to be doing some major updated today to the production server from our test server however out test server crashed and was getting "blue screens" on startup so we opted to move our stuff over to a new test box. Gr
My brother-in-law has that book you mentioned. I may just barrow it from him. ;)
Thank you PoetPhilosopher! Very good information. I do agree with many of your statements. There are a several things not mentioned that help answer a few of your questions. For one, human imperfection. This is something that we all have to face. Interestingly enough, everyone responds differently in there one single area. Imperfections in the way we think, act, grow effect ultimately everything we do. Granted, my perspective waved imperfection off as "what if we were perfect". Still,
Attention all JoeUsers!!! We want your opinions about joeuser.com! If you have any suggestions, comments, concerns, rants & raves, we want to hear about it. We've been getting some great feedback lately and we ask that you please keep it up. If you have a suggestion, please leave it here on this tread so we can write it down. When reading a discussion on the JoeUser message forum, I came across a post talking about how Man and Machine would become one sometime in the distant future. It made me think of technology and the advances in computer processing power. So, in deep thought, I began to come up with a list of differences between a CPU and the Human Brain. Which is better, I thought? Well, here is what I came up with to help distinguish the answer. I like to think of our brains as more superior. If you
I've discussed this issue with Pat and this has caused some other ideas to surface. Thanks guys for the ideas! We really really appreciate it! Keep them coming. We are considering the language options and they may just appear on the site soon. We'll be discussing this further soon. We've got to finish up some other stuff today before we unveil our changes this afternoon. Thanks JEPEL & _Martin_ :D
Wow, these are really good points. I will pass this along. I don't see this as being a limitation since really JoeUser is whatever the populace requires it to be. We want JoeUser to be successful and I'm certain as demand has it, will change to fit the needs of them. Great ideas guys! Man, it's amazing how developed a product can become when it is critiqued like it is from outside users. Rock on! ;)
This past week has been a busy one. Now that Pat has come up with this crazy new system of writing all projects and ideas on the white board, it's been a lot easier to see what work has to be done. Actually, it's a good system and it seems to be working nicely. Anyway, here is a list of the items completed, or at least completed on the test system ready for final testing. Each item should be ready to be placed on the Production Server after Thursday. --JoeUser. Give detailed messages on
This was awesome.. Thank you. I think this article should be featured on the main site!
It sounds good to me. It only makes sense to pay someone for what they are worth. Sounds like the honest thing to do for everyone. Why is it that some officials ignore this fact?
You see.. since we get paid salary.. this month gives us a couple less days anyway.. so who's being shorted here.. MUHAHAHHAHAHA
