Sweet! I'll do that. I think these laws are the funniest things. I do like the, "It is illegal to taunt someone for refusing to participate in a duel" law. I think that it brings back the Monty Python skit with the Frenchmen in the castle. "I fart in your general direction!" or "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!"

I read this on an MSN Fact page and thought it would be interesting to re-post this on JoeUser. Pretty funny stuff! ;) Who knew there were laws like these in place. Enjoy! 1. LAW: It is illegal to transport a skunk across state lines. COUNTRY: USA / STATE: Tennessee CITATION: 70-4-208. Unlawful importation of skunks - Penalty. ACTUAL: (a) It is unlawful for any person to import, possess, or cause to be imported into this state any type of li

Okay Anton, I've looked in to the matter and this is what I've come up with. When you click on the "Site Information" link (located top right) there is another link that will appear called " Note : The site MUST be a Blog group for the link to appear. I hope this helps! Thanks!

Hummm.. it would appear we seem to have misplaced that link somewhere on the site. Not to worry. I'll look in to that for ya Anton and See about getting that back for ya. Sorry about that. I think the link went south after we updated the new site design. Huh, who knew?

The, "Having someone there to meet you at the gate" thing is something I have to agree with. After a long trip, it's out of clear comfort that you want to see someone you love waiting for you. It's just such a bummer to be flying these days. I don't blame you for not looking in eager expectation of a plane trip and all the hassle involved. I'm not much of a "work" kind of person when it involves travel. I like to be the guy in the passenger seat in the car so I can sleep and not think about, we

Hello All, I posted before [ Color Schemes on JoeUser.com ] and discussed some changes that would be swiftly approaching JoeUser.com. Well, as you can tell, color schemes have not hit the site, with regards to allowing the average Joe to change their color. Not to worry! Soon, JoeUser will be allowing everyone the ability to change colors on your own sites. As an example, please visit my

Written by Ariana Green (popsci.com) Professional competitive eating, like soccer, is not as popular in the United States as it is in the rest of the world, where expert gorgers compete for tens of thousands of dollars per tournament. But we are arguably a nation of amateur competitive eaters, 30.5 percent of us obese and the rest on the Atkins diet, everyone striving to eat as many strips of bacon as possible in 15 minutes. We also have an annual nationwide de facto competitive-eating

Subject: Oh to be 6 again this is classic!!!!!! A man asked his wife what she'd like for her birthday. "I'd love to be six again, " she replied. On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, got up made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms and then took her off to the local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: The Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was. Five hours la

Written by Jeff Wuorio (bcentral.com) Recently, I stopped at a local hardware store for a new bolt for a wheelbarrow. The only metal pin they had was too long and a clerk gladly volunteered to cut it down to size. As he was sawing away, one of the owners waddled past, scowled and snapped: "Doesn't he have a hacksaw at home?" Granted, we've all been treated to these sorts of remarks, comments and faux pas at businesses of all types and sizes, but that doesn't mean we should.

I use to work at Circuit City a few years back and the funny thing was I would get people calling the store asking for, "the number to the internet." As if you can call a universal number and get online. When that happened I would page a good friend of mine to take the call. He loved to push the conversation to the break of complete hilarity, all while managing to keep the customer on the phone for literally hours on end talking about this so-called "number." I'm not sure how though, but it made

Writen by Jeff Wuorio (bcentral.com) Recently, I was standing behind a woman in a pet store. When a young clerk asked if she wanted her dog chews in a bag, the customer snapped like a stale Milk-Bone: "Should I carry them in my hands?" she shrieked, trilling her fingers in the clerk's face. She then somehow managed to segue to accusing the clerk of drinking and sexual promiscuity. The scene melted with the woman storming out and the clerk in tears. Recently, I wrote an arti

It's amazing how people respond to an ad. As this fellow in the article realized when he said, ""It's fascinating to see what affects our readers," says Zucker. "I gained 1.5 percent on my click through rate by changing our background, text and border colors." I thought that was a rather important lesson. You never know truly what the customer wants until you change what you have and compare your results. It's important for any business to realize the potential for more business by sim

Wow, a HD crash is pretty major. I hope not to much is lost. How often are the backups made? It's to bad RAID wasn't in use. It would be such a simple fix if it was. Oh well... I guess you just have to live with what you got, right?

Technically, by law, all computer crimes are viewed as double the sentence of a traditional crime. How is this fair, who knows, but apparently that's how it goes? These guys compromised systems and since they have done so over the internet, crossed several borders. This means they could face charges from every company location they compromised. Sucks to be them. You see, these guys should have done their deed from an un-marked utility van, you know... like in the movies. ;) That way, it would be

(By Kevin Poulsen, SecurityFocus. The new defendant, Brian Salcedo, 20, was named by the original suspects, Paul Timmins, 22, and Adam Botbyl, 20, in an FBI interview following their arrest, according to a government affida

Dear Melchiah, You have some interesting points. I'll have to keep these in mind and let my co-workers hear at Stardock know about some of your requests. Who knows, you just might see them added to the site. The Advanced Printing options seem to be a smart idea. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll pass them on. --Dark-Star
