since when do ghosts leave shadows?. This is a load of pure grade bullshit.
I would think the idea is that the ghost is the shadow rather than it leaving it... As for it being bullshit or not, see my previous comment. :P
This may be a stupid answer.... But yes, you need to get impulse running to download the game. are very helpful in solving issues with impulse.
To cast a shadow, the object must have opacity to visible light. One sees no such object.
Sure, based on physics as we know it. We have been wrong before. I don't see it entirely unlikely that we could eventually manage to create an invisible force field that block light. And as I don't consider that impossible, there could be very rare natural occurences of the same kind too. I doubt this is a case of that though.
There's a natural explanation for that too... But as far as I'm concerned, if there are ghosts, they are as natural as visiting the loo. (Which at times can seem unnatural, but is perfectly within natures order ;) ) As for all the silly comments about letting MJ rest in peace, I REALLY hope there are better things to do in the afterlife than stare at what the living people do around here. I don't really feel like spending an eternity looking at this like a huge reality show *s

And if you do not why then go with 64 bit?
The OS doesn't need more than 4GB memory, even Vista does not. Applications and games require memory, and the more you have, the better your computer will behave. Why? Because you can have a whole lot more of the system cached in memory. Disk cache in memory is heck of a lot faster than direct access. With drive

I'm waiting eagery... I'll use it on my oooold PC :P One thing that came to mind after reviewing the last screenshot... Why not make the startbutton an animated steam gauge that flickers on midlevel as you hover over it, and hit max when clicking? :)

You shouldn't bring these issues to public attention. It's just what people like that want. Just report it to Stardock and let them do their business.... Really.
The latest WB 7.0 Beta (Build 176 x86 (hmmmpf) - Vista Edition) - 64 bit OS solved the safari issue. Good job. :) I would think it's sorted on XP and W7 too, but I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure.
I believe the SDK will finally be released with Deskscapes 3.
Along with Duke Nuke'em Forever? :P It sounds good, but there has been a fair amount of posts that did sound good about the SDK before. So I hope you don't mind that I believe it when I see it. I do look forward to it though (which I've never really done with DNF, it'll be just another FPS anyway :P).
I don't care what price they put on it. I'll buy it regardless. I'll just buy myself an OEM version if the retail/upgrade is too expensive, I don't need MS support.
Well, realtime processing of a webcam stream should raise a few eyebrows... I DO want regular overlays though... My skinning ideas go beyond static imaging. :P

I was commenting on vStylers krome thread a few days ago (quite a silly remark actually), about being able to see my reflection in the chrome. That got me thinking... I don't think it's something that is likely to be implemented any time soon, but it would be really cool. Imagine this: The ability to create an overlay from a live webcam stream. Add to that the possibility of add effects to the stream. This would actually make it possible to create a "real" reflection o
Looks perty. :P I still don't see my face in the chrome though ;)
DeskScapes 3 will add a new type of .Dream type tentatively called hybrid. It will let users have their cake and eat it too – far easier to make animated wallpapers that use a lot fewer resources.
Is that the same way users are able to create dynamic wallpapers that use less resources? [e digicons]:|[/e] (My point is, users were suppose to be able to create low resource dynamic dreams already...)
