a little bump for more visibility. It has to be fixed, you can't have a 2009 that doesn't even adapt to the different types of keyboards. Demigod is a great game in itself, but all the little things arround it (UI, netcode, pantheon, favor system) need a lot of work.

the artwork is great, it is even one of the better, i can't wait to see those demigods. Does anyone know when they will added (the devs were talking about 1 or 2 monthes after the release, but that was before the messed-up release, so it could have changed).
for the recognition system, since there are exp points, the devs could use these to create a level system. Very rpg-esque, and if you see a lvl25, you know that this person knows how to play demigod, while lvl1 is a newbie. the favor points should indeed be reseted (and this way, with the launch in Europe, everyone would start on the same ground) but i don't know if they need to cost a lot more. You can easily double the price, but a 10 factor for exemple would be too high, i would pr
i was refering to upgrades to the default UI. Mods are awesome, but i am not a great fan of UI mods (they help a lot, but having to search trough dozen of UI mods to find the most usefull doesn't sound like an interesting hour of play to me)
you should be able to always see the numbers on your hp/mana bars, the hud should also tell you how many minions of each type you control at the moment. Self casting is also needed, by clicking on your portrait AND via a combo of buttons (alt + number for exemple) There should also be portraits of you allies with their hp/mana bars, and you should be able to cast a spell on them by clicking on it. Timers for silence and shield would also be usefull, but are less import
i totally agree. Having very differents types of demigod was the basic idea when the devs started working on demigod, but it turned out that it wasn't working. So they came up with what we have today. They probably kept the distinction between generals and assassins because of marketings reasons. More importantly, Frogboy also wants to give idols to everyone and just have demigods, not assassins and generals, so we can hope to see that in a future update.
one of those little things the game need.
Their voiceovers are both hilarious, I don't know what you're talking about. TB especially. Out of all the characters, those are the two that spout non-stop pop culture references, they are clearly meant to sound stereotypical. It's tongue-in-cheek.
i fear it is not intended to be sterotypical and is just really uninspired. But i would be glad to be totally wrong.
There is also the roar of the rook, after a couple of hours, it starts becoming less fun and more irritating. Some voices could be a little better ( and if i remember well, the TB had a better voice during the beta)
Here's a fun fact: SOME DEMIGODS ARE BETTER SUITED TO WIN SOME AWARDS THAN OTHERS. This award is no different. Except for the fact that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for some Demigods to get the reward. Support DG like QoT are still capable of getting the kills, assist, damage or building awards. The first 2 might be more difficult, but it wouldn't be impossible. But the UB, TB, Rook, and Reg would be unable to get this award becau
you can use alt + shift during the game (or anytime in fact) to change to an other keyboard -> the qwerty one here. You will still have problems when you want to type a message to your teammates, but at least you can move the camera freely. Please stardock, let us rebind these buttons. During the beta, that problem was already reported, and you haven't solved it...
i don't see the point, if i spend 10k gold in the citadel, and my teammate spend 11K, he is rewarded and i am not. Why is that? That's like saying, in a game of football, they only scored one more goal than us, why do they get the victory and points and I get nothing? It's just the way things are. If you want more favour, do more to get favour points only. If that means your team ends up losing you may end up with only 10
let's get the facts straight: with the actual favor system, the favor points you gain are in 50% of the cases not related to the importance you had in the victory of your team: -if you play an healing sedna, you are a bad damage dealer, but you are essential for the team (a lot of time and survavibility gained) but you are a lot less rewarded than if you were just a standard assassin -if you play a rook tower farmer/tower eater, the chances are also that you will gain only a l
Now I do love my favor items but these should be mostly for custom games. Please remove from Pantheon and Skirmish these games often can be decided by a broken item or teammates with not enough favor to have the right item that game. The ranked game should be decided by skill and strategy not a favor item.
1-if some items are broken, they need to be balanced, not to be removed from pantheon. 2-teammates that don't have favor it

Grunts gets killed by dozens and none of them ever had the chance to stand up and kick the ass of those so called demigods that keeps killing them. So, the next demigod should be a minotaur. Nah it wouldn't be cool the hero would be mistaken for a grunt No, I
the connectivity is not so broken, for many people it works just fine, but indeed some are still experiencing difficulties. it is hard to tell how many people have connection issues, since those that doesn't have a problem don't tell a thing, and some people think that the update of the netcode should allow them to play with a shitty connection. All i can say is that stardock/gpg are working hard on demigod, and will continue (and those are not the words of a fanboy^^).
Quoting RamzaBehoulve, reply 3 Quoting angryandroid, reply 2This wont work because not all DG's have healing abilities. e.g. a TB could not get this unless they spent a small fortune on universal gadgets. Seeing as I have seen a few super fast mauler animals in the form of Sedna who do huge damage and win the kills award, no. Sorry Irrelevant. Non-healing Demigods do more damage than Sedna and naturally g
i also think the favor points allocation system is a wee bit broken. There should be favor points for healing or preventing damages (oak, Sedna) And also i don't see the point in only rewarding one player, you should be awarded points each time you kill/give gold to the citadel/destroy a building,..... That way it would be a whole time better; at the moment, if you play an healing sedna or a tower farming/eating rook, the chances are you will gain the less favor
i like it!
The ranked game should be decided by skill and strategy not a favor item.
chosing your favor item is a strategic choice! they totally have their place in the game. With favor items, you can complete a build, or react to what you see in the opposing team. So, no please don't touch the favor items.
maybe that vent, ts or whatever other soft are a dozen times better that an in game voice chat (even if i am not so sure about that) but when you are pulled in a random team; it is very usefull to be able to chat. Look at TF2, it would be a real pain to play without it and the 2 games are cooperative multiplayer games where you need to coordinate your efforts fast with strangers = you need an in game voice chat system.

What's been frustraing around the office is that, with every patch (for the last 1.5eks), our internal tests have shown nothing but improvement. Granted, there were a few early patches where things were OBVIOUSLY worse than what was already available, but lately we've been getting 10player games going with outside players no-probl
