they will be fixed very soon, the patch that will fix most of the problems should come monday. The devs are working really hard to solve the problems that appeared at the release, and when they will be solved they will work on new features.

2- i am glad you can't, being able to mist the citadel with a mana regen item would totally break the gameplay. 1- edit: tested it, in fact it works fine [e digicons][/e] . That will allow funny builds
Should have had an open beta.
everyone knows that now, but before launch it was hardly impossible to predict that a system that worked very well with SupCom will suddenly encounters many problems when you change it a little bit.
there is a bug with how your favor points are tracked. But the devs will soon create an online database that will store our favor points.
Why is the pause button not enabled by default during singleplayer? It seems very counter intuitive.
because they have used the same model than for supcom: when you play a skirmish match, you are emulating the multiplayer. So you want to have all the same default options, or at least it is how gpg sees things. they could indeed change this, even if it is not by far a major issue.
that will come, if you search trough Frogboy posts, he told it himself. Anyway Stardock/gpg will provide updates during at least one year.
You are welcome [e digicons]^_^[/e] . and you should totally try the new beta update (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350037), and report to the devs if it doesn't solve your problems. Stardock has a remarkable way of seeing things, they don't just release the game, take the money and run, but they try to give the best support possible. So don't hesitate and contact them if the next update doesn't solve your problems.
If you wanted to keep your license, why did you return it? If you could buy the game and return it within 10 days and keep playing for a month, there wouldn't be much reason not to return it. Most games get boring after about a month, and it would sure be better than downloading and deleting a demo. They aren't getting a 5 week loan, the bandwidth they are saving from not having you play while you wait for your chequ
you can try to contact stardock support service, opening ports can also help. And the netcode update that should solve most of the remaining problems should come soon, so you can also wait (quoting frogboy it is a matter of days).
Quoting Spooky, reply 7 Only if you ask for a refund. (You can't get a refund AND keep your license. This should be a no brainer.) Part of their process is to send them the product along with license key. At that point they should revoke the license until then they have my money and I can't use the game. When they cut the check is when they should revoke the license...otherwise they are getting a free
Don't send email to their tech support they may revoke your license to use the product like they did mine.
yeah they may even send the kgb and kill puppies!
you can change your forum and in game name without creating a new login :). I will also maybe do it
in fact, in the release version, each time demigod was launched, the first thing it was doing while playing the cinematics was trying to connect to the auth server to verify if there is a new release (and by the way if you key is valid). The problem is that with something like 100 000 pirates launching the game, the auth serv was overloaded. And since it was also doing some other stuff, multi was unplayable.
not me either.
are you sure they scrapped that? I never heard that and Frogboy seems to like that feature a lot. Anyway i could be wrong...
don't forget that replays are half implemented, so if it is your last game, you can still find the replay and see if there is a problem. I also doubt that favor items are imbalanced and a newbie doesn't stand a chance against an experienced player, in demigod, supcom, w3, or any other rts.
i think it was a good choice to do not spend too much time on the single player campaign since Demigod is a multiplayer game but i understand it can bother you that there isn't one.
nice, i like the gold earning skill
it would be really fun. I was also disapointed when i saw the single player campaign. Still, it doesn't bother me so much that there isn't a real campaign. There isn't even a single player mode in Team Fortress 2 and it is not a problem either; using a lot of dev time to create single player features doesn't seem like a valid choice to me.
The real downside is that it would be really hard for a modder to make a map, unlike all the other rts where you use elemental bricks to build a map (and so it is relatively easy to create a sdk for the modders) Demigod uses huge 3D models. But i also love those awesome maps, i just hope that some other will come in a few monthes.
there is a bug with achievements right now, playing solo and multi messes with them. The devs will fix that once the netcode is ok (so next week i guess).
with a bit of bad faith you can say that the different demigods don't even have to come from the same world, so it is not a problem if the QoT is half as tall as the citadell, or if the people that are in the rook are as tall as ants. The devs must have used some kind of unit in their IDE, it should be possible to find some tracks of that.
i also experienced that, i doubt it is a bug. Anyway you can still have a good score in this round, it is just very hard to make your team win.
Don't lynch me, but I LIKE using Windows Media Player and I'm not going to download a different one just to get the track listing. Seems rather pointless...
as you wish, if you like it, use it^^. you just have to know that if you think that some features are missing, there are some great players around the web. and to complete the list above, the author is listed as Howard Mostrom
5- i am pretty sure that it is intended, anyway it doesn't change a lot of things, if the demigod is killed after having teleported to his cristal he was 98% dead before the teleport 6- i think it is just a nice visual effect and intented to be like that but i can't know for sure. the others are nifty bugs that i hope will disapear in the month
