Wow, just wow. I haven't played this game in a long time so I decided to come back and laugh if the last update on the front page was "Occulus lives!" and indeed it was. Then I decided to check out the forum and it is so sad to see that with as small as the community still is that even when a new person buys the game and then has a problem that everyone (technically only 3 people, Zen_God's reply was actually nice) replies to him and acts like a complete ass. <

I think my point was kind of missed. I don't really care that you can have 4 suits of armor (although it is awkward) but when the amount of armor/hp you can gain drastically outranks the amount of damage you can gain from items then it removes any strategy when buying items. Plain and simple: get the HP items because if you don't you will die everytime because you certainly wont be able to do enough damage to kill the other person before you die. I just want some variation

I come from a DotA background so that is partially to blame for this post. I have been playing DG since it launched and had my fair share of dissapointment/joy with the game but one thing that I have noticed lately (or for some time now I should say) is that the predominate strategy in the game is to stack HP to massive amounts. I say this because I see it done with EVERY DG. It doesn't matter which one it is, everyone has 5k+ hp because it is really the only way to go.&nb

I had ready to play installed on my machine when I had vista but after I had to wipe my machine and install Windows 7 when I install ready to play and try and run it I get an error message saying that it stopped working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing solves the problem.

I haven't played a long time now and I actually asked the same question the thread starter did and the answer was no :/. On a side note though, I really have no idea how the people who defend GPG and Stardock justify their arguments in their head. Demigod is a retail game, not some community mod that could or could not get done on a normal schedule. I cannot think of any multiplayer games that I have ever played that had a smaller community and so many issues with the game

From my experience with other games the best solution is to simply remove the player's hero and then the gold income is split between the remaining heroes so they get better items faster. It ends up making things more even then giving them a dumb AI :P.

For proof of the community drop I just checked the custom games list and there were...2. I then checked the HoN games list and there were...154. This is why it is so hard to get into a game and thus why I play other games, I don't have time to sit and wait for a game, I want to actually play the game. I hope Demigod can bounce back from this :(.
